  1. Just to clarify, the wait times I mentioned were only for the wait for an interview letter once your PD is current and you are added to the queue for an interview - and none of us can even guess how long it will take for your PD to become current. It could be way longer than 2 years. All you can do is keep watching the Visa Bulletin and hope that it moves soon. As for the process once it is current, it’s all very clearly set out on this page - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html
  2. You've now given the info that people needed to help you (which consulate you'll be interviewing at). There are some consulates where applicants only have to wait a couple of months once their documents are accepted, others have a 2 year queue for an interview. So no, there is no 'how long USUALLY', as it really varies. But for the DR, this thread will give you an idea, seems like it'll be around 5 months or so (possibly a bit longer as your visa category won't be prioritised, unlike CR1's) once you're DQ'ed. Good luck.
  3. Your question isn't clear. What's next will depend on where you are and what process you are following, I thought you were outside the US but now you're talking about AOS?
  4. And that may well be it, but I've not seen anybody else with a 3 year wait, even for Nigeria. Hopefully the OP is already on the case, has chased it up and is checking their online status, but it's worth flagging to him just in case he's had a IL that has gone in to his junk mail and been missed.
  5. And have you contacted the Embassy to ask what the hold up is? You should have had your IL by now. What does your CEAC status check say?
  6. Ah, yes, different procedures everywhere. Not required before interview in London AFAIK.
  7. Where have you read you need to book biometrics? I thought we didn't have to?
  8. Yes, exactly. If his PD is 2013 then it became current in 2020 (ish) and so that's a 3 year (ish) wait for an IL, I've not heard of any longer than 2 years. If I were the OP (and his PD is definitely correct) I'd be kicking up a fuss by now.
  9. Yes, it does - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/hepatitis-b-vaccine/#:~:text=These doses are given at,and 1 year of age. It depends on the age of the person though, my children both have Hep B but not Hep A, my husband and I have Hep A but not Hep B as when we were babies it wasn’t given. So we’ll all need at least one jab at our medical next week!
  10. As above, your case won’t be transferred to the consulate until you have received an interview date - I got my IL on Saturday and 5 days later the status changed to ‘in transit’. How long the IL takes will depend on the backlog at your consulate, some have only a wait of a few weeks, others have 2 years from DQ date to interview. I’m afraid I have no idea about Panama City but it might be worth searching the forums to see if you can get an idea of how long it’s taking at the moment. Good luck.
  11. They should be on it already if the I-140 was filled out correctly, your fee bill should be for all 3 of you and there should be a section for each of them with a DS-260 link. Check with your employer or their lawyer to make sure they were included and ask them to contact USCIS to correct the error if they were. Just FYI, it may be best to start a new thread with any questions in the relevant forum as not many people will see it here. Good luck.
  12. What is your exact PD? It’s current and probably has been for quite some time so I’m confused as to why you haven’t had an IL yet if you’ve been DQ’ed since 2020. It would be helpful if you filled in your timeline so that when you ask questions people can see the info they need to help.
  13. I'm just gathering all our paperwork for ours which is next week, the confirmation email does say urine sample is only for those age 18-24, just to confirm what @LaJumpa said. My 18 year old daughter was most disgruntled when told that! 😂
  14. What visa category and country is your immigrant visa? Just wondering if you may be close to getting it so may not need to bother with the F1, or if you’re still a long way off.
  15. Makes no difference for consulates with backlogs and Islamabad is one of them unfortunately. Here’s the thread for spousal applicants via Islamabad, it’s about a 2 year wait from DQ to interview date IIRC -
  16. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html Depending on how long ago you submitted everything, if you definitely should have had DQ by now then there is probably something missing or wrong. But put a list of every document in a new thread in a relevant forum (not many people will look at this one, other than those of us that are also April NVC submissions!) and hopefully somebody can help. Good luck.
  17. I'd start a new thread with details of your application, and details of exactly what you have uploaded (including the AoS form, and if for just you or a joint sponsor etc). Hopefully then those in the know can let you know if there is something wrong or missing. Did you look at the country specific guidelines and include anything on there for your consulate too? I've seen a few people miss stuff off that.
  18. Just FYI, the status has today changed from 'at NVC' to 'in transit', so that's 5 days after the IL.
  19. Documentarily Qualified - at NVC, after submitting all supporting docs - when they’ve been checked and approved the case is then added to the queue for an interview date if the PD is current.
  20. Your PD isn’t current yet, you won’t get an interview until it is so keep an eye on the Visa Bulletin.
  21. See above - potentially IL around the end of the year it seems. Are you the same person as the OP?
  22. You’ve posted this in the DCF forum but I don’t think that’s relevant to you? So assuming you’re applying via the ‘normal’ route then you’ve got a long time before the I-130 is approved. But in the meantime, read up on the process so you can understand all the steps and what will be required - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition.html Good luck.
  23. All EB applicants have to mail their docs, wherever they’re applying from. If you look at the April thread you can see how EB candidates were added to the table with a notation (myself included), if you add it from the date of receipt then it’s usually about the same timescale.
  24. It still says at NVC, I checked it today. Status hasn’t changed yet.
