Trouble logging into CEAC
appleblossom replied to Yoshie's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
If you did the public enquiry form then it shouldn't take several months, you can see the date they're responding to enquiries from on the timeline page and it's currently only a few days - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html -
Presumably it's a cap exempt position and so you're not subject to the usual deadlines and the lottery? If so, that should be plenty of time for a July start.
-
Ah yes, it will be then. Just checking it wasn’t a sibling petition or something like that! Hope she hears very soon.
-
On the menu, click ‘immigration timelines’ and then you can narrow it down. Just looked at your timeline and it says Nepal? So assume you’re asking about somebody else that’s applied via Paris? What kind of case and is the PD current?
-
You might get the IL in a month if lucky, for an interview date in the future. Not sure what link you mean?
-
Paris is usually one of the quickest consulates - only approx 3-4 months from DQ to interview IIRC. But you can search VJ timelines to give you a better idea.
-
You don't seem to be aware of the processing times and/or Visa Bulletin, so just checking, have you looked in to your children and whether they'll still qualify for a visa? As you mention some being over 21. Might be worth posting their ages and when your I-130 was approved so that forum pros can work out if they'll qualify under CPSA. If not, then you'll need to be aware of the process for them joining you at a (much) later date as well.

Only EB1/EB2 update on NVC (DQ, IL)
appleblossom replied to snm2212's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
Two IL's received in Sept on the table above, both London applicants. It totally depends on the consulate, some are much quicker than others unfortunately. -
CEAC Status - Your search did not return any data
appleblossom replied to myvisajourney1's topic in Tourist Visas
Did you keep a copy of the DS-160 to make sure you are entering the info exactly as you did in the application i.e. passport number etc? Have you tried using both Ankara and Istanbul? -
It could have a huge impact on wait time, yes. Waiting times for interviews can be as little as 3 months after being DQ'ed, or 2+ years, depending on the consulate. But you don't normally get to pick, it's normally whichever consulate serves wherever she's resident. Don't know if it's different as a Syrian though? If so, what are the options?

EB2-NIW Waiting for Interview Letter in London 2023
appleblossom replied to OnPoint's topic in United Kingdom
Interview on a Monday afternoon, passport back Thursday morning. Much quicker than the two weeks they say it will take (this was in July). HTH. -
Ankara, Turkey 2023 Interview Times
appleblossom replied to PakistaniRussian's topic in US Embassy and Consulate Discussion
Others have reported getting appointments sooner. 8 months isn’t too bad though, other countries are waiting 2 years or more.- 12 replies

They can’t have gone over the country cap, it’s simply not possible. It’s a legal limit. USCIS do say that the monthly stats don’t give an accurate number if they’re added up, due to the way they calculate it, and that only the annual FY report is accurate - “individual monthly issuance reports should not be aggregated, as this will not provide an accurate issuance total for the fiscal year to date. Instead, refer to our annual Report of the Visa Office for final full Fiscal Year statistics.”

Montreal embassy EB-2 interview wait time-Part 2

That email would come from NVC, nothing to do with the consulate. HTH. -
USCIS Approval, what next?
appleblossom replied to mza001's topic in National Visa Center (Dept of State)
Absolutely no point in contacting them, you just need to be patient and wait for the Welcome Letter (which will come via email as CC has said). If they were only approved on 16th Sept, then there's still a way to go - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html Once you've got the Welcome Letter, the whole process is set out step by step here - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html HTH, good luck.
