  1. For me it is physical income tax form 1040 submission to IRS as spouse does not have SSN/TIN number.
  2. I have a NVC interview for CR1 visa scheduled very soon. My year 2023 Tax transcript will not be ready by that time. Hence planning to take year 2023 W2 along with pay stubs and filed income tax returns documents. My question is in I-864 form I have put my company DBA (Doing Business As) name as employer name but my W2 and paystub mentions parent company name. Will this be an issue while Consular appointment interview and any further documentation needed to prove that DBA company name on W2 is indeed employer name I put in I-864 form? Really appreciate if anyone can clarify and provide help.
  3. Ok. Whether we need to take just printouts of petitioner's passport, Naturalization certificate and Birth certificate or we need certified notarized copies?
  4. Thanks for your reply. I have one more query regarding documents to bring during CR1 Consular Interview. Got confused with the mail received from India US Consulate regarding Petitioner's Birth Certificate. It goes as follows: As per mail received from Mumbai (India) consulate, as part of the documents they have reviewed, they have mentioned "Petitioner’s Birth Certificate" as reviewed and OK along with Beneficiary Birth certificate. As a petitioner, I have uploaded only my US passport and Naturalization certificate as part of NVC supported documents and even during I-130 filing. So just wondering how they have mentioned Petitioner’s Birth Certificate in the mail and whether It is required during CR1 visa interview for my spouse. Also do we need just printouts of Petitioner passport, Naturalization certificate which were scanned and uploaded during NVC filling or we need certified copies of those? Anyway my spouse as a beneficiary will be carrying all her original documents during interview. But clarification is required for Petitioner's documents. Really appreciate if you can clarify on this.
  5. As NVC has already DQed and already provided IL, just thinking whether is it mandatory now to upload any new documents like Tax documents at CEAC. Anyone gone through this scenario with CO during visa interview?
  6. As part of CR1 visa, my spouse got IL from NVC and interview is scheduled for May 2033 end. I have already uploaded year 2022 Income tax return transcript and is verified by NVC as per DQed process. Now as my spouse does not have SSN/TIN, I have filed Income Tax return for year 2023 physically by sending the required documents by post to IRS. I don't think it will get processed by IRS by May 2023 end. In this case do I need to upload Year 2023 tax documents like form 1080, which I have sent to IRS on CEAC site or is it fine if my spouse just takes copies of the year 2023 Income tax documents i.e. form 1080, W2 and latest pay stubs during CR1 visa interview without uploading them on CEAC site?
  7. Do we need Petitioner’s Birth Certificate copy during CR1 visa interview? As per mail received from Mumbai (India) consulate, as part of the documents they have reviewed, they have mentioned "Petitioner’s Birth Certificate" as reviewed and OK along with Beneficiary Birth certificate. Really appreciate if someone can clarify on this.
  8. Anyone booked Biometrics appointment at Mumbai OFC in recent time like March? Currently there are no Biometrics appointment slots available at Mumbai OFC for the month of April and May and my Consular appointment is scheduled by NVC at May month end. So just wondering when slots getting opened at Mumbai OFC for Biometrics!! Any suggestion will be really helpful.
  9. Is it possible to reschedule Biometric OFC location and date in same country? I mean if I book OFC slot at one city for Biometrics for May and in case Biometric OFC slot will be available for another city for April, can I reschedule Biometrics from first city May date to second city date in April (which is preferable location for me)? I hope this rescheduling Biometrics date and location will not affect the Consular appointment date scheduled by NVC for CR1 visa. Really appreciate if anyone can clarify on this please. PS: This is for India and we have different portal for OFC Biometrics slot booking than rest of the world.
  10. I believe IL mails are received today 27th March from NVC for Jan 2024 DQed.
  11. As per the timelines posted in this forum, it seems it takes minimum 8 weeks to get IL mail from NVC after DQed.
  12. I believe it is only Mumbai for CR1 visa processing.
  13. Update from me: We are DQed today and Case status is "At NVC" Docs submitted 13th Jan 2024 Documentarily Qualified 19th Jan 2024
