  1. Wise is probably the easiest option, the difference nowaways is relatively small compared to the amount of money you are transferring
  2. Thanks, My interview was on the 04-Sept, and was put in AP, I think someone in the consulate put it in the backburner because of the visa quota being out for the FY and they only picked it up after I sent an email on the 09-Oct asking about the status of my application since I sent everything they needed. After that email it was issued in 2 days. Good luck to all.
  3. Hi all, After a month in AP my visa has been issued. I just want to say this forum is amazingly useful to follow up the entire visa process, I am sure we can all agree that it can be brutally excrutiating. Thanks all for the advice, wise words, tips, and best of luck on this process.
  4. Yes, I think you can even start looking once you have the passport back from the consulate.
  5. Here, https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news.html
  6. As per the link I posted above EB2 became unavailable on the 09 Sept, so you should be ok, you were approved 3 days before that.
  7. It was in London, yes. Congrats on the approval, you've finalised the journey
  8. It has been reached, see below https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/annual-limit-reached-in-the-EB-2-category.html For all EB categories as of now
  9. They did for me yes, asking for my CV and stating I was provided with a 221g
  10. I think this is usually what happens, you should be fine and your visa should be with you soon
  11. Hi all, a bit of expert advice/ guidance needed here. I had my EB2-NIW interview on the 04 Sept in London, but I was put under AP (they asked for my CV for some reason, I know strange....) I have been living in the UK for over 8 years, originally from south america. Since my visa has not been granted and EB2 has reached its limit (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/annual-limit-reached-in-the-EB-2-category.html) does that mean it cannot be issued until October? Can the gurus shed a light please @appleblossom
  12. Fantastic news!! Congratulations!! When and where was your interview?
  13. I've had AMEX in the UK for a couple of years and just got approved for an AMEX in the US without the SSN, the card is on its way Should arrive tomorrow, just posting this as proof that you can make it happen, it might take a call or 2 to their 1800 number but its definitely worth it.
  14. You must register your appointment here https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv
  15. Mine went from "At NVC" to "In Transit" and now is showing "Ready" Just give it a couple of days and yours will probably change too.
  16. Its fine, the only thing you have to consider is that you must enter the US within 6 months of your medical.
  17. On the CEAC page: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx
