    What you’re seeing is just an estimate based on their current workload for cases similar to yours. This is why it goes up and down. It’s possible for processing time to shoot back up but let’s hope that never happens. Currently you should be able to see “myProgress” in your USCIS online account that should be a little accurate. It’s a new feature just been introduced for i-130 to show your personal case wait time.

    The answer is NO if you have never filed form i-130 on their behalf or any other person. Regardless of wether either parent had been to the states on a tourist visa the answer remains No. if you answer NO, you wouldn’t be asked for location.

    Anyone who filed form i-130 for parents in February of 2023 should leave a message here or feel free to ask any questions. Also, please update the forum on the progress of your petition with USCIS and the NVC.
