    Being that you all live together, they are correct. She is a household member not a joint sponsor. There is a difference. I joint sponsor is someone of a different household that is basically co-signing for if you don't qualify by yourself. A household member means that both of your incomes are combined to see if you qualify for a household of 3 including your spouse. This actually may be to your benefit because she would have to qualify or EVERYONE in the household by herself if she were a joint sponsor, which would be $32,275. Your entire household would need to make that amount combined rather than you and her both having to make that seperately

    the wait for spouses is 8-12 months currently for Lagos for a spousal via interview. The entire process from beginning to end takes about 2 years if the other spouse is a US citizen 3 years total for LPR

    Just got approved today. I didnt even see the email they sent this morning. I just randomly checked my account and say that my date of review said today all of a sudden and the approval was under the documents tab PD: April 23, 2023 AR1: May 15, 2023 AR2: May 2, 2024 Approval: May 2, 2024

    This just shows that you have not updated your status on this site to show that your visa was approved. Its a list of those that arent approved yet. The only way Visa Journey knows if you have been approved is if you update your timeline to reflect this

    I think they are doing maintenance or something because my case was missing too but I saw it with no problem last night

    Hi everyone, We applied in April 2023 with a PD of April 23, 2023. We are awaiting to hear back. I made a few errors on the i130 despite trying to be careful and taking my time. Hopefully we still get approved, as I submitted for updates for the errors in October. Has anyone had an approval yet? My service center is Texas
