  1. How did you interview go? Did you get any decision at the spot?
  2. Most likely you will get a interview date in Sept or October. You will get an email when your case is transferred to London Embassy for interview..
  3. I hope that's the case. But it would be better if you talk to a lawyer. Post a free question here https://www.avvo.com. According to what I know once you are married, I-129F is invalid from that day on.. Also, I-129F approval are good for only four months. I am suspecting in my case, they denied it because it expires. That's what most of the people I know are getting it in the mail as a reason.. Wish you all the best. I hope it goes smoothly for you this time around. For me, even 5 months wait is too long. hahaha..
  4. Yup, terrible. Other countries, usually process visas within couple months to reunite people. Here things are totally different. Not sure what are they thinking.. Fiance visa supposed to be done quickly but its taking months and months..
  5. I didn't get the detailed of why they have rejected. As a matter of a fact, when my fiance asked him please give me a reason why you are rejecting, he said, sorry I can't give you the reason. Go ahead and reapply for a different category. However, I spoke to the lawyer and she said, the best course of action here is to get married and reapply. I will suggest the same to you. Most likely you will never hear back from USCIS.
  6. What was your embassy? What type of email did you get? I lost almost 20 months. I-130 is now almost has 14 months waiting period. That does not include the time wasted at NVC and embassy..
  7. Yup, they did. It says returned to NVC. I have already filed Cr1 now. Waiting time reset to zero after 20 months of waiting for k1 visa interview and getting punched right on the face..
  8. didn't get it. We had engagement ceremony and it's pictures. Why would it lead to rejection?
  9. Yes, good idea. Will wait for few days before pull the plug on it..
  10. I hear you. That will suck if the case expires there. We have to restart all over again. Probably CR1.
  11. nope, no ceremony. Just engagement ceremony and it's pictures..
  12. Fiance had interview on Feb14th, 2023 She was told, apply a different category not Fiance. She got hit with 221(g). I checked the status, it said, Refused for admin processing. Next day, the status changed to Ready. I contacted embassy and they told me your case is being returned to USCIS for revocation. I sent an email again asked them to look at it one more time instead of sending back for revocation. They sent me this message this morning "Thank you for your email. Our record indicates that your case is currently pending for review. Please rest assured we are making our best effort to finish this admin processing as soon as possible. " So not sure what's going on here. Anyone had any similar experience?
  13. Did you get any updates? I am going through something similar on a fiance visa. They refused, then it changed to Ready and now they sent an email that it's being reviewed..
