  1. My timeline (updated): Sep 12th: I received a biometrics appointment letter Sep 29th: Biometrics appointment. Sep 29th: Case tracking status changed to "Actively being reviewed" following biometrics appointment. And now the wait continues....
  2. Any change for your parents yet? I’m in a somewhat similar situation with me being the primary beneficiary and my wife, the derivative beneficiary. My timeline: May 15th: Paid immigration and processing fees for my wife and myself. July 1st: We entered the US via San Francisco. July 7th: We received our SSNs (both). Aug 3rd: We received notice that our GCs were being produced. Aug 8th: Wife received notice that her GC was mailed. Aug 11th: Wife received her GC. I’m still waiting for an update on my GC.
  3. Just to add, don't lose faith if the passport is not sent out on the Friday immediately following the interview, as mine was sent out 2+ weeks after said interview even though the visa was "issued" the day after the interview.
  4. Cool - I'm pretty sure you'll get back every single piece of paper - I did 😁
  5. @chevin I got my copies certified just to be on the safe side, though it might not have been required. @kiwipete Hopefully you sorted this but if memory serves me correctly you might be able to pay for the courier services there (I think I saw it on display there when I went for my interview), but I supplied mine while dropping off the documents, and got back the passports in in it.
  6. All good, no worries! Make sure you take your passport along with you, as it was requested at every step in the process (more so for verification that they're handling the right person and file) as you'll be interacting with different members of staff along the way.
  7. Hey @chevin, Everything was done electronically; they didn't use the paper forms nor the six (6) pictures each my wife and I took along with us - we were photographed at the beginning of the medical. I did ask if the pictures we took along with us were needed and the response was that they'd only be required if our respective eMedical files were inaccessible. Also, I opted to personally drop off my documents at the consulate on the same day, ahead of the medical appointment, as both locations are about 5mins apart (walking distance); otherwise I would have had to fly back to AKL or courier the documents.
