    Thanks for the reply. Yes I am out of status right now. My wife took me to DMV last week and they couldn't renew my DL.

    Now I have the I-495, I-765 and I-131 receipts. Can I use these receipts to apply for driver's license? Or international driver's license? Another question: I finished the biometric for I-765 and I-131 together which is under I-495, but when I checked the system, it only showed that USCIS received I-765 and passed the stage from 2 to 3. Yet the I-131 still stays at stage 2, which is biometric. Is there anything I am missing here? Thanks!

    I made a mistake here. I sent my I-130 a with the I-130 my wife sent. I haven't sent I-131 yet. I am working on filling out I-131 and I-765. This forum is a big help and thank you Chancy and Boiler for answering my questions. Another question though: I mailed my I-485 form and I can't see from online anywhere the receipt. Do they usually just mail the receipt back to people? I mailed my I-485 form 2 weeks ago and I haven't received anything.

    Thanks for all the info. I have not submit I-765. I submitted I-131 within my package of I-130. Do I still need to mail them I-130 with I-485?

    So my EAD card, F1 visa, driver's license, and my I20 will all expired the end of this month while I am waiting for I130 and I485. Am I just going to carry the receipts of I130 and I485 around when I drive around?

    Can I still work my current job or I have to wait at home after my F1 visa expires? I probably can't leave US, right?

    I am on my F1 visa and am married to my American wife last year. I submitted the I130 and I485. My F1 will be expired at the end of this month. If I don't hear anything back for the I130 or I485, do I need to leave US?
