Congratulations. If you don’t mind me asking, did you do anything to get them to decide on your case? I know people have been filing a writ or asking to expedite etc
I did. Well my lawyer did, writing about a change in circumstance, they just sent generic response and when he pushed, they didn’t reply to his email at all.
I am at 17 months plus a few weeks too
If you guys see this one though. Even this doesn’t have the passport data page listed. According to my lawyer, it’s normal for dos to not put the same fields for everyone. I confirmed with him on multiple occasions considering my application also doesn’t have that field listed.
Actually. Mine looks similar to this. And I spoke to my lawyer about the missing passport page and he said that it doesn’t show up the same for everyone.
Uscis was quick-ish but case has now been stuck at dos since Feb 2022. I think the timing then was just faster before the dos backlog started affecting uscis too. No US gov funding.
My case was sent to DOS in February 2022. So been nearly 15 months there. I contacted my state senator last week but I don’t think they’ve received a response from DOS as they said they would forward it to me. Would you guys just wait or try to do another inquiry through someone else( ie friends friends acquaintance sort of situation in a very good government position)?
