  1. I just got my favorable recommendation yesterday. No writ filed.
  2. Can you share who your lawyer was? My original filing lawyer doesn’t do writ of mandamus
  3. Can you send me your lawyer details as well please? I have the same timeline as you.
  4. Can you send me your lawyer details? My case has been pending since Feb 2022 at DOS.
  5. Congratulations. If you don’t mind me asking, did you do anything to get them to decide on your case? I know people have been filing a writ or asking to expedite etc
  6. Case was received by dos on Feb 2 2022. Uscis sent it in jan 2022
  7. My case has been with DOS since Feb 2022. No update whatsoever. Tried expediting with two different senators offices but no progress whatsoever.
  8. I did. Well my lawyer did, writing about a change in circumstance, they just sent generic response and when he pushed, they didn’t reply to his email at all. I am at 17 months plus a few weeks too
  9. I’m already at 18 months at DOS. Sent to dos in feb 2022
  10. Even in these, not all of them have the passport data page listed.
  11. If you guys see this one though. Even this doesn’t have the passport data page listed. According to my lawyer, it’s normal for dos to not put the same fields for everyone. I confirmed with him on multiple occasions considering my application also doesn’t have that field listed.
  12. Actually. Mine looks similar to this. And I spoke to my lawyer about the missing passport page and he said that it doesn’t show up the same for everyone.
  13. Uscis was quick-ish but case has now been stuck at dos since Feb 2022. I think the timing then was just faster before the dos backlog started affecting uscis too. No US gov funding.
  14. I applied Aug 2021, they sent rfe Oct 2021 and then forwarded to dos feb 2022. So 6 months for me.
  15. I guess the bigger concern is that they are rejecting some cases despite a long wait.
  16. I’m about a week short of 16 months too. Went to DOS in early feb 2022
  17. Early feb 2022 at DOS. No funding. Still waiting. Tried reaching out to senator but seems like no response
  18. If you don’t mind me asking, who was your lawyer? And what was the procedure/cost for the mandamus
  19. My case was sent to DOS in February 2022. So been nearly 15 months there. I contacted my state senator last week but I don’t think they’ve received a response from DOS as they said they would forward it to me. Would you guys just wait or try to do another inquiry through someone else( ie friends friends acquaintance sort of situation in a very good government position)?
  20. I don’t have it either. I spoke to my lawyer and he said not everyone’s document panel looks the same. He said he did submit the passport page though
  21. Congratulations! If you don’t mind me asking what’s your original country? And basis of hardship case. I’m getting so worried about my case now.
