I would appreciate any info. I’m leaving out Monday to get to my husband and his family to make funeral arrangements. What do I do if our application gets approved while I’m there? How long do I have after it’s been approved to file with the NVC? I know we can wait up to 2-3 weeks for our welcome letter in the mail, but who receives the welcome letter, me or my husband? Any help would be great.

Just found out that my mother-in-law passed away. I really hope this comes soon. We are struggling as it is just another thing to add to our plates. Congratulations to everyone who is getting their approvals.

I’d like to ask where you got the information on that they’re currently processing applications for April/May 2022? Because I just asked an agent through Emma and they told me they don’t provide that information anymore. Sick and tired of this #######. The can’t tell us that they’re gonna prioritize us if they’re not actually prioritizing us because why are we still having to wait 14 months? How long does it take to actually verify that a marriage is real because it shouldn’t actually take that long. It should take days not months or years or weeks. I’m so frustrated with all of this #######, and I missing my husband like crazy. I haven’t seen him since January and I’ll be lucky if I get to see him before the end of the year but at that point our form might be approved which means I won’t be able to go anyways, because all of that money has to go towards NVC paperwork. We couldn’t spend our 2nd wedding anniversary together and we’ll probably miss both of our birthdays. Anyone else also notice the update that they did to the website when you sign in? It now says MyProgress with slightly more information, still just basically telling you that they’re processing and reviewing your case. Sorry for the rant everyone, I am just going through a really hard patch being without my husband, especially since we haven’t seen each other for almost 7 months. I’m sorry for my rant. I hope everyone has a lovely day and it’s been wonderful to have this journey with you guys. Glad to have people who understand this process and experience.

I haven’t tried sending a K3, but I’m kind of at a point where maybe I should send it to see if it’ll get their butts in gear!

Nothing new. Still on active review as of April 17th. Getting a bit tired of the waiting game to be honest. Cant wait till this whole process is over. Just wanna be together already.

New update for everybody on my journey. I contacted an agent on Emma and was told that apparently my application was transferred from the Potomac center to the Vermont center directly after Potomac received my application. So it has been at the Vermont center since the beginning. I contacted a live agent about a month ago And was told that it was still being processed at the Potomac center. But today they told me that it could be with a case agent and they could be actively reviewing it. But it was originally transferred at the beginning of the process soon after Potomac had received it , so I was unaware of this. So here’s to hoping they are actively reviewing, and I will receive an approval soon along with all of you Wonderful people.

We just received our first active review today! I know for some it doesn’t mean much but it’s the first contact we’ve had so I’m hopeful!!
