  1. There was a spam comment that was posted on my timeline today but I didn't see any way to remove it. Or is that an Admin only thing?
  2. I understand embassies are secure facilities, what personal items are allowed to be brought in for an interview? Are cell phones allowed? Thanks.
  3. The title is completely misleading and typical of how activists lie to people, the program is to give ILLEGAL immigrants that are spouses of citizens legal status. Word games like this are how activists manipulate people into supporting something which they otherwise wouldn't.
  4. I'm waiting on a CR1, DQ date February 29. Who else here is waiting?
  5. And the State Department really needs to fix the backlogs at embassies like this one. It's not right to have couples wait so long to get interviews.
  6. True there are scammers that make it through, but going full nanny state isn't the answer.
  7. I have mixed feelings about this. It's good that a gang member isn't allowed in, but giving the agency unlimited powers with no accountability is always a recipe for disaster.
  8. Here's the main one, there's a couple others floating around the embassy and Africa sub-forums.
  9. If you're documentarily qualified then it's up to the embassy to open a window, and from what people are saying there's quite a long wait for Lagos. There's a thread about it.
  10. Yep, so far it's only been a week since DQ. Where are you at in the process?
  11. Oh, I thought I had filled out the country info but I guess I didn't. Fixed now. I've got a timeline. I have looked at the portal but the only ones there are from several months ago, I was just seeing if there was alternatives. I guess not, thank you.
  12. Ah yes of course, I apologize for not including this. CR1, petition approved. Ds/260 with all documents just submitted the other day, waiting on NVC to look at it. Right now I'm trying to get an idea for how much longer. Best guess based on what I've seen earlier was around 3 months but was a while ago now and it might have changed.
  13. The only info for the one I'm going through is for non-immigrant visas, they don't publish anything else. Yaounde, Cameroon. The most recent I've seen was a post back in October saying their experience was a 3 month wait. I'm not sure how much that could have changed.
