I noticed a lot of comments on this topic that use words like "lies", "fairytale", "stolen" or "plagiarized". Think what you will about the religion that outlasted it's predecessors, but these MYTHOLOGIES are not children's stories and re-writing stories across cultures and passed down for thousands of years is not plagiarism. Plagiarism is a modern construct. These myths passed around the globe for possibly 10,000 years, yet only the Judaic interpretation has been characterized as a stolen children's story.
Please, be fair. Yes, it's ridiculous that people believe them; but if you want to be taken seriously, use facts and neutral language, not emotion and judgement.
