met on Yahoo. in a chat room called black intelligent women, didnt like him much at all. partly because his chat id so loooong. he actually asked if I was Indian, apparently my photo was misleading , so I was rude and told him where to go, gave him a map and directions to get there.
the chat room closed down and we moved to another chat forum. we started talking there, then on the phone. we were both dating other people so it didnt cross my mind that there was any possiblity for us. yet for the whole year ( 2007) from January , I told everyone I knew " this is the year i'm going to meet my husband." I honestly believed it, and had actually started to say this way back in 2006.
our relationships petered out, then it was just us. it became obvious that we were interested in each other, and then we decided to meet. We met in Kalamazoo Michigan, though he hates that place, I actually love it. He proposed approximately 3 days later. The rest will be history.....
