Hello!! I did not receive an email with my case number along with my name as the beneficiary. I only received the one that stated my interview. However, I still proceeded with the medical appointment. I printed the email that I got. Attached the email from NVC that my case is sent to Doha US Embassy and they accepted it. -
It is always a week notice. Last person I knew who was interviewed got 1 week notice as well

Oh was it a longer wait? When's your NOA1 and 2? I'll send them tomorrow morning before going to work. You know what, let's make it M44 instead of M99 because it falls under schedule/reschedule as per visa navigator. What do you think?

We could try again. Let us all send them email and see if we'll get something. Yeah a timeframe will at least give us some idea to until when do we wait. My case has been ready since August 2nd. I don't get why yours hasn't been scheduled. Ready since June 2023 right? Also how did you know k1 isn't their priority?

LOL. Sorry for the confusion! Geez. Yes. We have to follow the template they said and it took them 2 weeks to reply just to let us know that they needed more time. Like how much more? 🤣🤣

Oh when they have set our schedule, they'll send it to us. They replied and said give them some time. 😅

They will set our schedule unlike other embassies where they get to do it on their own. Our only choice is to wait.

Welcome letter is like this. Welcome letter should come from US Doha Embassy. Wait. Your case has been ready since June 20????? Why? I mean when was your NOA1? Howcome it has been that long? Is it a special case if you don't mind me asking?

My case is at Doha as well. I believe it is not the welcome letter because I have received the same. Welcome letter is saying that the case has been "received" at Doha US Embassy and it contains the instructions for DS160, link for the payment and the list of the necessary documents they require. I have not received any welcome letter. But I did already submit the DS160 and paid the visa fees because in some cases they already did it before receiving the welcome letter. It has been almost a month now and we have not received it.

No not really, unfortunately. It's another waiting game for us. You could try sending them an email. We did, using the visa navigator and responses as per the thread is not something to expect asap. Our hopes are with them to send us the schedule. Have you received your welcome letter? And when did you case got ready?

Oh wow! I thought the welcome letter is necessary in the interview. Maybe I thought wrong. LOL Guess what? Our case is ready! Will fill up DS160 soon and pay the visa fee. If it's not too much to ask, may I know the questions that were asked during the interview? Are the officers American (white) or other nationalities/race? Just wanna know. Thanks!

Thank you! Can I ask you something? Can you let me know if this is correct timeline? 1. NVC Case Number 2. Packet 3: Welcome Letter - Petitioner will receive this? 3. Case Ready 4. Submit DS160 and pay visa fee 5. Packet 4: Interview Date confirmation from Doha Embassy by email 6. Once the interview is confirmed, schedule the medical exam and vaccinations 7. Have all your documents and medical result with you on the date of interview and hope it gets approved. Lol Did I miss something?

Hello there! After 81 days, finally got my case number. Status is still "At NVC". Next shipping date will be August 1 and 2 so hopefully by that time, ours will change into "In Transit" and then be ready soon. Basically right now, just trying to prepare everything that I have available. August is just around the corner! Excited for both of you! Hey are you also processing your k1 here in Doha? How's your case going?

Hey congratulations on your fiancée's visa. Finally!!! Happy for you both. If you don't mind me asking, may I know the reason why the entry is one August? Thanks for the review also. I read it. Very informative and helpful. As for me, I haven't received my NVC case number so I'm just and literally, hanging in there 🙃 😅

I think NVC is taking 2 to 3 months? So I guess my clarification will be, should I email them now even if I don't have yet our Nvc case number and attach my residency ID and work permit?

Hello! How is your case going now? I am also the beneficiary and I currently live here in Qatar. I did not send my residency permit also so I assume I'll have the same scenario with you. So we need to prepare.. 1. Residency permit (QID) 2. Work Visa 3. National address certificate - I am not familiar with this. Can you help me with this 3rd requirement? Thank you!
