  1. @mm_101 Thanks for the note. I was approved! Thanks to this group for all the insight along the way. I've been following this board for the past several years. Some highlights from my experience not already included in this forum: I spent about ~1 hour at the consulate. Very professional group there. During the first call up to the desk was asked for all the standard documentation already outlined on this stream. After being asked to return to my seat I was then called up again by another officer 15 minutes later. After the standard questions (job offer, where will I live, ect..) I was told that my visa was approved. EB-2. IMPORTANT: Given the long wait time in Montreal I decided to move my case to Dublin, Ireland as I have dual citizenship. I was quickly contacted by the Dublin embassy to set up my interview. That was very exciting! I quickly learned that the Dublin embassy would not interview me because I was not currently living in Dublin. My case was sent back to Montreal! Luckily, things moved rather quickly once my case was sent back to Montreal. My suggestion: before considering to move you case anywhere with a faster process than Montreal make sure that you do not need residence in that country to get an interview. All in all, an exhausting process. Almost 4 years from the beginning to now. Glad to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Best of luck to all of you.
  2. @Halioak - I noticed my CEAC case status changed to "ready" about ~5 days before receiving an interview letter via email. Time from receiving interview letter to actual interview date is ~28 days. Congrats. could you please share your timeline a little? How long did it take for you to receive interview letter from the consulate after your CEAC case status turned to Ready? Thanks!
  3. Long story, but my original DQ date was October, 2020. For some unknown reason it was changed to September 2022. We could never get an explanation as to why. Either way, interview date is April 15th.
  4. @EternalWait I received my interview letter on March 18th. The interview is scheduled for April 15th. I was going to update the Excel file but it appears my entry has been deleted.
  5. @ALCNeither me nor the attorney know why the date changed. We didn't submit anything. You bring up a good point about the recent progress in processing. I might just hold back and hopefully get an IL in the next 3-4 months.
  6. No, very disappointing. Trying to figure out why my DQ date from Oct '20 to Sept '22. My employer's immigration attorney has reached out to both the NVC and Montreal. No insight has been given. I'm considering having my case switched to Dublin. I have Irish citizenship.
  7. @KDEE No I did not receive an IL. Pretty disappointed. I'm wondering if my delay might be attributed to my DQ changing from Oct'20 to Sept'22. My past two NVC update letters reference this date. Not at all sure why it changed. We did not submit new information. Very frustrating. I sent a request for expediting email referencing this change in DQ date. Let's see if anything comes of it... As background, I'm a Canadian living in Canada but commuting to the US for work under an H1-B.
  8. Hello, @mm_101 Who did you email to get this specific response regarding Montreal's processing. This is very helpful. I've been DQ'd since Oct 2020 for an EB2 but I haven't received my IL yet. I just joined this forum today. I'll add my information to the Google Excel tracker. Thanks.
