I am born in Hong Kong, which is part of China since 1997, but not part of China when I was born (1986). On my I-797C Country of Birth section, it show China, instead of Hong Kong. I heard that Chinese National's processing time is much longer than Hong Kongers. I am curious to know if anyone know this is a mistake or everyone that was born in Hong Kong would show Country of Birth: China.
