  1. When do we fill out the I-134 and the DS-160? I have collected all my financial documents (W2s, Proof of Employment, signed bank statements, etc). I just don't know when we're supposed to actually send them in.
  2. Can't be a worse wait than the 390 days it took to get the NOA2 lol
  3. What about the I-134? I have already gathered W2's, bank documents (signed by a bank officer) and a letter of proof of employment from my employer. Are there any other financial documents that I will need. I have a 401k, would proof of that be needed? As for the DS-160, I think fiancée once tried to fill one out for a tourist visa, but it would never let her finish the process. It apparently has a time limit and will kick you out and make you start over if you don't finish it in time, but their site would load so slowly she could never finish it.
  4. I got that too as an inquiry response. Begins with MNL then a bunch of numbers (I assume MNL stands for Manila?). I always thought the K-1 was a non-immigrant visa. But my ID only works if I put it in the immigrant visa search. But yeah mine says "at NVC" as well. Not sure what to do next.
  5. I sent another inquiry this last weekend. Hoping for good news, but I doubt I will get it.
  6. How long does it take to put a case into the system? My first inquiry was July 19th and they said they have received my case but not put it into the system yet. Here it's August 23rd and still nothing. It can't possibly be that hard to do data entry.
  7. It's the government, I would not count on such mercy. The government isn't accountable to anyone so they have no incentive to help you. Mine will probably expire before the NVC even creates a case number and we'll have to start all over again.
  8. Do we fill out and submit the DS160 once we get our NVC case number? Or do we need to wait for the embassy to receive the case first?
  9. At this rate it won't even make it to the embassy by then.
  10. NOA2 - June 14 First NVC Inquiry -July19th. NVC replied indicating they have received my case but not into the system yet. Second NVC Inquiry-Aug 4th. Same reply as above. Sigh. NVC Timeframes are lies too. "We are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 30-Jun-23". Then why haven't I received anything from my June 14th case?
  11. Guess I'm just never getting married since the I-129f approval only lasts for 4 months and it will probably take longer than that to get everything done once the NVC gets their act together.
  12. 60 damn days for the NVC to send it out? And the approved I-129f is only good for 4 months? Guess I'm just never getting married. Rigged system.
  13. We received our NOA2 back on June 14th and are still waiting to hear from the NVC. In the meantime we are trying to work on other documentation we will need. On the K-1 guide here, it says "Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview" By "original letter" does it mean something I have to send via physical mail? I have written such a letter, signed/dated it, scanned it, and uploaded it to a Google Doc folder that contains our visa documents. Could she just print that out and take it? I have tried to mail her things before but it just gets returned to sender because I guess our postal service is useless at shipping things abroad.
  14. I'd like to know too. I received my NOA2 on June 14th and still haven't heard from them. I sent an inquiry and they just said they haven't put it in their database yet. The guide on here said this should have only taken 2 weeks.
  15. The closer it gets to when it estimates adjudication, the more nervous I get. I can't even sleep at night anymore. I would hate to have to start all over again because I made some minor mistake over a year ago
  16. Page 10. Sorry for the confusion. Last night my fiancé pulled up our chat logs where I told her I had checked that I signed everything so I guess I am just paranoid. Apparently the one I had been anxious about after sending the packet was trying to remember whether or not I had signed the money order. Which I obviously did since I got my receipt and never got my money refunded or anything.
  17. Oh, so you're just clogging everything else up for the rest of us. Very cool. Thanks for adding to the wait time.
  18. Won't this just be added to their pile and they'd never see it before it's too late? I don't see how this would do anything to be honest.
  19. This is what I hope for. You would hope they at least check for super basic stuff like that instead of making you wait over a year to tell you.
  20. Hi, I submitted my I-129F back in May of last year, and only got around to making an account here recently. When I got my paperwork together, I remember I had to re-print the last page of the I-129F because of a typo. This is also the same page you pure your signature on. I am fairly sure I signed it again, but I have been paranoid about possibly having forgotten. Everything else was fine. We submitted photos of us together, screenshots of conversations, statements of intent to marry, all the required proof of the relationship. We even included extra documents that weren't required, such as the beneficiary's Certificate of No Current Marriage. If the entire submission is perfect except I forgot to sign it, does the whole thing get rejected or will I just get an RFI? I will literally fly to California to their office to sign it if I have to. I would want to die if we had to start all over again over such a small thing. The wait times are so long
