Seems like someone has deleted the CR1/IR1 data from the Montreal Spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is only displaying data for K1 visa’s.🤔

The stats from 2021 to 2022 were much better than this year. A lot of people were cleared in 90 days span.

At interview they didn’t ask for the resume, the CO printed out the 221(g) and told me you’ll be receiving an email with questions that you need to answer. She further added that she don’t know how long is it going to take for further processing but make sure you send the answers ASAP. Next day I received and email with DS-5535 link and also requested for the updated CV or resume with all the start and end dates of education and work history.

They asked for my resume as well. My education falls in TAL. They further asked me to fill out DS-5535. During the interview the CO was focused on my education and research area. I had to explain her my entire research as she’s going to hire me for the job. Anyways it is what it is… It’s a wait game now.

I guess she had an interview back in 2021, VJ username Danii. But she got lucky with the processing time. She got approved in 52 days. CO requested for her resume and given DS-5535. I guess it’s the same person you’re referring too.

Does your husband had a lot of travel history? Also, would you mind sharing what’s the background of your husband, educational and backhome ties with any MENA countries or India, Pakistan? Just trying to see the pattern of this drastic DS-5535. Thank you

Six months for real? Any reason for that so long? Or is it because of the type of visa you applied?

Yes it will eventually stop for a while. By the @Leo The Great the CO also issued me 221(g) and asked for my resume and DS-5535 submission. I have a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Would you mind if I ask what’s your dad’s educational background?

I’m wondering what they say in their response email back to you after sending a case inquiry to the Montreal consulate? I am trying to understand the logic behind the “case last update” in correlation with the emails. Thanks in advance

@evek please kindly mention your issuance of Interview Letter and Interview date as well as your nvc DQ’ed time span. It will be helpful for other members. Thanks -
@bobo 123 what’s your Priority date and visa category if you don’t mind asking me. Is your spouse US PR or Citizen? If you don’t mind me asking. Also, I think the processing time is different for spouses of PR and Citizens. Secondly, I would like to ask to everyone if they can share about the importance of Priority date in lieu of receiving interview letter for US spouse based visa categories IR1/CR1.

part IV, the big IR1/CR1 DQ'd message group...

Hello Everyone, I am documentarily Qualified on April 27th, 2023. Visa category is CR1, Montreal Consulate. My priority date is Jan 18th, 2022. Whenever I login to CEAC account it still says “Your Case is at NVC”. I’m wondering is it normal till the interview is scheduled or there’s something wrong with it? Could anyone please provide guidance on this issue. I would really appreciate your inputs. Also, does priority date has anything to do with the early interview letter release or still has to wait till consulate schedule the April 2023 DQ’ed applicants until they start looking into April qualified persons?
