Souse already naturalized. My Case Is still Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS :(

    Philadelphia field office.

    USCIS page is showing:

    Estimated time* until case decision:
    approx. 29 days

I am not sure what does it mean though.

Should I file FIOA request for A-file? Any advise?

    Thanks

At last my interview was scheduled. I received update today morning.

Interview was scheduled for March 30, 2023.

    Thanks

Tbh they’re no rhyme or reason to any of it. A friend of mine submitted their N400 the same week I did in September, they’re already a citizen while I’m waiting for my interview day. It’s frustrating but nothing to do but wait.

What might be the reason that some of us are not picked up for interview date yet?

    - Background check is not completed? - It should not take that much long from my understanding.

    - A file is not ready at the local USCIS office?

Can we submit a request for A-file? I am not sure when should we submit this request. I saw in some other forums that sometimes it helps to expedite (not sure).

    Opinion?

Hi @emmanuelyingrid03 I believe its standard response. What is your estimated time in case status? Is it showing days?

    Thanks

@SkyBlue2022 If it helps to add another data point: I'm a June 2022 filer with an estimated 10 days left.

@Robbernosky Thanks for sharing your information. I wish you are getting the good news soon. Please update us, when you get it.

My spouse already received the citizenship, while we applied on the same day.

    Thanks

The general consensus is that these estimates are useless.

However, mine was down to 16-18 days I think and I got my interview scheduled. Could be a coincidence. Others have similar experience too. But several others don't have similar experience. Depends on case by case. I hope you get your interview scheduled soon! The second half of 2022, they sped up the process of interviews it seemed like so who knows, you will get yours scheduled soon perhaps. Good luck man.

    Thank you for your response.

No there is no update  on my case either, i see so many people that apply on December with interview already scheduled, but this is randomly, what is your time to finish the case on Uscis page, mine says 3 months to complete the case.

    Today's case status for me:

    Estimated time* until case decision:

    approx. 26 days

I did not receive an interview notice but my estimated time is counting down every day
