Thank you. I was trying to follow what’s referenced on the Dept of State website. So it’s a bit confusing that they refer to different vaccine requirements.

I was born in Canada. I can try calling the two provinces I was living between. Thank you! Oh ok, I was going by the info on the NVC website which links to CDC for vaccine requirements. And they list polio.

I don’t have a scar and I’m not even sure I got it all. I’m 48. I didn’t even think polio vaccines were available anymore, but it’s listed on the CDC site as a required vaccine for immigration to the US.

My province does not provide polio immunity testing and I do not have any of my old vaccine records. Does this mean I will have to get a Polio vaccine?

Just got DQ’ed today! I have a couple questions 1. Do I wait for the IL or should I start some of the medical stuff now? I saw mention of immunity tests, I don’t have all my really old vaccine records, so is this something, I will need to do? 3. My passport expires in March ‘24 so there is no way I’ll have 6 months left by the time I have an interview, can I just show up with a new passport (and bring the old one), should I just submit a copy of the new one to CEAC site before the interview?

I had to go back to the commissionaires and start over with a new request for the right one. I am annoyed at myself for not paying attention to this detail. When I went in a month ago I told them it was for a US green card applications and then just trusted she had picked the right type. So I’m now looking at a 2 to 3 month delay just for this RCMP check. Soooooo frustrating.

Thank you. I don’t know if I should just start over or try to contact CCRTIS. I guess at least I found this out before I submitted the wrong one to NVC which probably would of been an even longer delay.

After a month of waiting with nothing arriving I just realised today the Commissionaires requested the wrong type of check for me. I’m so frustrated right now. Is there any point in trying to contact CCRTIS by phone to try and correct it and get the right one done, or do I just start over with new prints? I tried emailing but it seems like they don’t monitor that email anymore.

Right then I did mess it up. The Commissionaires asked me what it was for and then picked visa type when I said it was for a green card application. So I guess I just lost a whole month on that and have to start over on this step. Argh.

Which one did you originally ask for? I am on week 4 of waiting for mine and now I’m worried I requested the wrong one! I went to commissionaires and she asked me what it was for and I said immigration so she checked that option. Not sure if this was the right one or not.
