or is it married filing joint with your spouse and they need his I864

if he is on tax returns,  they need a separate I 864 with his signature and SS #  (should have had his name and SS# on MFS also even if u didn't claim him)

Should I send another I-864 for me and one I-864 of my husband as a joint sponsor? Like fill out a new for in my name? and try to add more documents showing our assets?

Also, now she has A-number and online account number. Should I add the numbers in the new forms I will have to fill out?

Me, my self make 65k. Total household  is over 140k. I chose to use only my self as solo sponsor.

  3. Hi everyone, we just go a Request for Initial evidence and I'm not sure what we have to send back to them.

I'm applying for my mother and I'm her sponsor. I make 65k a year and submitted all the documentation. How 65k is not enough for me to sponsor her?

I really need help. Should I send another I-864 but this time add my husband as a joint sponsor? What documents I should send? I really lost here because it is no clear for me what is this letter asking to send back to them.

    Item 29: 1

    Part 5, Item 1 (you): 1

    Part 5, Item 2 (spouse): 1

    Part 5, Item 8: Total: 3

Me again, sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions, but this form i864 is too confusing. This part here on Part 6 do I add my individual income or the household income from my tax return? Note that I'm file jointly with my husband and on the Tax return it show only one amount for the gross income.

It so frustrating that I already filled all the other forms and this one is taking too much time for me to finish it.

Interesting. On my mac (Ventura 13.2.1) none of Safari, Preview, nor Chrome will auto populate or auto calculate

No idea if the free acrobat will work.

Good thing Preview provides a free work around: text fields

Just googled this and it is a long time issue never fixed. Some people made work on Adobe for Windows. Impossible to fix on Mac.

    Hold on....

You've posted this in the K1 AOS forum.

    You're married to who?

    Your mother?

K1 forum so this makes what you wrote hear confusing.

Please clarify who I864 is for and who "we" is.

    "She" is who?

    Your K1 beneficiary?

    Your mom?

Both because you're married to your mom?

    Sorry for the confusion.

    I'm a USC married to a USC.
We are applying for my mother's green card living in the US but different state.

Mac OS Preview lets one add text fields anywhere

This is really helpful and I will do that.

Now that we are here I have another question if you could help me.

I'm married and we do joint taxes. I'm applying AOS for my mother and she lives in another state. Is she part of the household when I'm filling this form? Should I add 3 on the bottom or 2( me and my husband)?

I wonder what is the worst case scenario with how long they might take to approve EAD. Had my bio appt feb 5 and so far nothing, My mom had her appt in jan 5 and also nothing. I don't have a lot of experience with immigration, so i have no idea how long it can take, some people got it the next day while others wait 3 6 8 months  or longer. How long do you guys think we will have to wait for that sweet work permit?

When I applied in 2019 it took 3 months to receive EAD after bio.

  9. Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting here, and I have some questions.

I have my N-400 interview next month, and I plan to apply for my mother's green card. From my first GC until my citizenship, I did everything by myself without the help of a lawyer, and everything worked out great.
My mom came to the US one year before me with a P1 visa, but she overstayed.
My question is: Is the process for her AOS the same as if she has come here with a B2 visa? Will USCIS do more questioning why she stayed? Or it doesn’t matter?
