    The first time we contacted them on June 12th using the NVC contact form. The second time we emailed directly at nvcresearch@state.gov like they advised us to do. We also joined a scanned copy of our Notice of Approval.

    NOA2: May 15th We contacted the NVC for a second time yesterday and got news today that it was received. We don't have an exact date but it was sometimes this week. No case number yet but glad we are moving forward.

    I've also heard of cases being processed faster even if not expedited because the petitioner was from a certain country. For example a Ukranian petitioner living like France. I can't remember where I saw that so don't quote me on that.

    Hi guys! We just got our approval: 13.5 from our NOA1! I wish you all a speedy approval and I'm rooting for all of you late 2022 filers to wait even less ❤️

    NOA1: 5th of April 2022 NOA2: 15th of May 2023 I wish all those who are still waiting a speedy approval ❤️ Thank you to @FilledesEtoiles for the daily updates and to @Obllak for their spreadsheet that kept us sane during this wait ❤️

    It's true that not being able to work, even for a company abroad is a real pain in the butt. Personally I'm very much hoping for an NOA2 this month so that I can hand in my resignation at the end of the month. Since I need to give a 3 month notice it works very well with the visa, and my job sucks so I can't wait 😅

    Yeah, I noticed that. I think at this point USCIS is mainly doing this to avoid a mass of cases out of normal processing time.

    So far they have touched 200 cases this week but I don't know which groups exactly.

    I totally agree with the statement. The pushy attitude for the cr1 is very annoying sometimes. We do not regret going the k1 route one bit. We had the time to discuss important matters and feel truly ready for marriage now and feeling pushed to marry would have probably stressed us out and made us regret the whole thing. We are also luckier than most people here because we live together abroad so while we want to move on and get the visa, we can afford to wait. My point is every relationship is different and unilaterally pushing for the cr1 dismisses all of that.

    Hi all, I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to share the excitement! Our NOA1 is in April and I've been slowly getting hopeful about an NOA2 in mid May or June. I look at the famous Obllak spreadsheet daily and relay news to my partner who has more of a "we'll see" attitude. It's just nice to see other people getting as hyped as me by these numbers ❤️

    Very excited! I've been following the latest updates closely. Part of me doesn't want to get too excited though for fear of being disappointed again...
