The first time we contacted them on June 12th using the NVC contact form. The second time we emailed directly at nvcresearch@state.gov like they advised us to do. We also joined a scanned copy of our Notice of Approval.

NOA2: May 15th We contacted the NVC for a second time yesterday and got news today that it was received. We don't have an exact date but it was sometimes this week. No case number yet but glad we are moving forward.

I've also heard of cases being processed faster even if not expedited because the petitioner was from a certain country. For example a Ukranian petitioner living like France. I can't remember where I saw that so don't quote me on that.

It's true that not being able to work, even for a company abroad is a real pain in the butt. Personally I'm very much hoping for an NOA2 this month so that I can hand in my resignation at the end of the month. Since I need to give a 3 month notice it works very well with the visa, and my job sucks so I can't wait 😅

Yeah, I noticed that. I think at this point USCIS is mainly doing this to avoid a mass of cases out of normal processing time.

So far they have touched 200 cases this week but I don't know which groups exactly.
