    Wow! I got my I-751 case added in my USCIS online account now, as soon as the credit card got charged, with receipt number starting with IOE .

    They gave the exact reason in the rejection notice. USCIS Phoenix lockbox received my refiled I-751 packet on 3/8. Hopefully I will hear something by next week, after you get an update.

    I saw you filed your n-400 on 12/18. We filed it on 12/22 and SF is our field office. So waiting impatiently this week after seeing your progress. Lol. Did you get the interview scheduled notification when you checked on the USCIS site? Wondering if any change in case status is updating on the USCIS case tracker app as well.

    For I-751, I got my package back exactly after two weeks because of a rejection due to an error in my form. So I guess you need to wait at least 2-3 weeks. But mostly everyone here get a text with receipt number for I-751 within the first two weeks of sending their I-751 packet.

    Hey, how did you give a heads up for a credit card transaction? I used a Chase credit card for my USCIS application sent yesterday. I just wish I sent it with my personal check instead.

    Thank you! Got late when I realized this. I probably need to write a good cover letter briefing the error in expiration date, to guide USCIS in this application. I am trying to get I-751 filed successfully now, since I recently learned this is needed before naturalization.

    My cover letter was just a list of documents included. The explanation of USCIS error was added in a separate letter. I should have probably added that explanation in the cover letter itself? Yes. No fees was taken. They didn’t charge my credit card for this I-751 filing.

    Got a rejection notice for my I-751 late filing with the reason “petition filed before the 90 days expiration date on the permanent resident card”. I received a 10 year greencard instead of conditional greencard after 1.5 years of marriage. Now it has been 3 years after I received my greencard. How can I explain the filing of I-751 in this situation, since my greencard has an erroneous expiration date?

    That would’ve been better. They probably like to get the money from I-751. I just wish this I-751 filing could be done online like N-400. That could’ve avoided the wastage of so much paper prints and also the unnecessary anxiety for receipt notice and biometric notice.

    As per OP’s timeline, it seems like OP got the I-751 approved and is currently in process of N-400 interview.

    Hi, I am in a similar situation now filing I-751. When you filed you I-751 application form, what did you fill as the expiry date of conditional status ? Did you return your erroneous 10 year green card during your I-751 process?

    I just found out I forgot to sign the G-1450 form to authorize the credit card transaction. Totally my mistake. I am just praying they process that transaction though. Does anyone know how long does they take to send back the application packet?

    Sent my I-751 package last week. Hoping to get some response this week. Jan 12, 2023 : Sent the ROC packet via USPS Jan 14, 2023 : USPS delivered to the USCIS Phoenix lockbox address Long weekend might be slowing things this week. The wait to get a receipt number is too much to ignore.
