I-751 March 2023 Filers
annrose replied to D. Sala's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Even I tried clicking on unsolicited evidence button and it was just refreshing the page. Please let me know if you find a way to make it work. I guess otherwise we can only wait for one or two years until this I-751 get approved or until we file for N-400. -

Same thing for my I-751 case in my online account as well. Did you figure out a way to fix this? -
N-400 December 2022 Filers
annrose replied to 17Miller's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
Thank you! IO talked to me about my marriage, kids, work and education including my PhD thesis. They seem to have found all my details through background check, even though I didn’t submit most of those details in the n-400 application. But it was mostly like a conversation and the IO was very friendly. Also the oath ceremony had around 20 people.- 590 replies

N-400 December 2022 Filers

Interview experience at SF field office: A US citizen now! 🎉 There was a long waiting line in the front of the building. So it took me around 20 mins to wait and get to the waiting area. Plan some time ahead, just in case. My interview was at 12:45 pm yesterday (but got called in at 1:15 pm because the IO had to take extra time for the previous interview) which lasted for around 30 mins and I got approved for same day oath ceremony at 3 pm. Got the certificate of naturalization by 3 pm. Documents submitted during online application for N-400 based on 5 year LPR eligibility rule: 1. copy of greencard (mandatory) 2. copy of marriage certificate (mandatory) 3. copy of kids birth certificate (mandatory) 4. tax transcripts of last 5 years (optional) No additional documents were asked to be submitted during the interview. Originals of interview appointment letter, passport, green-card and driver license was asked to be shown. Paperworks to be done after getting US citizenship: 1. Apply for US passport (in person appointment at usps) 2. update citizenship in SSN records (can be done by mail, once we get the passport card) 3. register to vote (can be done online) 4. update citizenship in dmv records (has anyone done this?)- 590 replies

Wow! Congratulations! 🎉 I remember your appointment was at 10:50 am. When was your oath ceremony? What documents did you take for the interview? What documents did they ask? My interview is on next Tuesday 12:45 pm at SF FO and on the F1 to citizen journey as well.- 590 replies

My 48 months extension receipt notice of I-751 also has this “Filing Fee Waived” written on it. I didn’t apply for any waiver either. But since they also show “Amount received 680$ “ , I am guessing it’s not like they are giving back the money anyway. Mine is also an IOE case # with California service center. Received the biometric reuse letter about 2 days after I got the initial receipt notice. -

I-751 Timeline update: 03/06 - Package sent to Phoenix Lockbox 03/08 - Package delivered 03/10 - CC charged + text message with IOE# 03/14 - Case status “Actively being reviewed” 03/17 - Received receipt notice (NOA1 - 48 months extension, California Service Center, with received date 03/08 and notice date 03/14 ) 03/20 - Received biometric reuse notice (with notice date 03/14) None of the USCIS notices appears on the documents tab of my online account for this case. I have sent a message in the USCIS online account with topic “technical issues” to fix it , if possible. Will let you know if they respond. Now ready for the long wait for approval. -

Thank you for sharing. Interesting to see cases like that. Seems like that was an IOE case too. -

Heyy, we have very similar timeline at SFO. Hoping to get the same day oath ceremony. How are you preparing for the interview? Are you taking copies of all documents you uploaded online for n-400? Since I am applying based on 5 year rule, I am thinking to take the originals and copies of passport, driver license, marriage certificate, kids birth certificates and also this year’s tax transcript. I think I am good with the 100 questions on civics and history now.- 590 replies

Cool. I got the same case update now. Are you able to see the receipt notice in your online account documents tab? -

If your current GC will be valid when you re-enter, they won’t even ask for extension letter. until when is your GC valid and when are you planning to re-enter US? I am still thinking you might get your 48 month extension notice in mail this week, even if it got delayed than the biometric reuse notice. It could be some delay with USPS. -

You need the original extension notice to re-enter US. Once I showed a copy of my latest immigration notice at the US airport immigration and they didn’t let me. Luckily I had my previous original notice with me, which was still valid and that got me cleared. -

Lol. I totally understand this level of anxiety. I went through the same. The text message was received around 8:37 PM Pacific Time for me on March 10th. Credit card was charged around 4 PM on the same day. -

That’s so cool. The new I-751 IOE cases might get the biometrics letter sooner then, like the n-400. Waiting for my notices to come in mail next week. Wonder how some people can see the notices in “Documents” tab. -

Date filed for me is the date they picked up my package from lockbox. -

For me, the case got added automatically to my online USCIS account, at the same time they charged my credit card. Probably because I filled my existing online USCIS number in my I-751 form. There are no receipts or files in the “Documents” tab though.
