Acasubsidy

I had very weak evidence for commingling finances. We just added a bunch of explanation letters signed by both of us and they didn’t even question it. literally we just had joint bank accounts and cars etc.

My wife and I are eligible for subsidies through the aca. I am a Green card holder for 5 years and have filled my n-400. When I first moved here my wife sponsored me with I-864 affidavit of support. Question is are ACA subsidies a means tested benefit/Public Charge that could come back to haunt us down the line due to affidavit of support. I’ve tried looking it up but everyone says LPRs are eligible but nothing about people with I-864s too. I understand that Medicaid and food stamps are the main ones. But in my eyes a subsidy like this is a means tested benefit. So does anyone here get subsidies through aca and have an affidavit and have looked into this.
