Hello, an inquiry was sent by Congressman as regards update on VAWA case filed August 2022 with 4 Prima Facie. Understood another PF was sent but is there more meaning to this. The response was “ U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicate your constituent's Form I-360 is currently under review. Please advise your constituent that even though the petition is still under the review process and could be denied, your constituent has demonstrated a substantial likelihood of being a victim of abuse. USCIS has determined through the review process that your constituent met the minimum requirements for approval of the I-360 petition. Thus, USCIS granted an extension of Prima Facie Determination (PFD) with a notice sent (G-28 Attorney) on August 29, 2025. The PFD is valid for a period of 180 days from the notice date.” Thank you.

I haven’t yet. I sent in an inquiry and the response was “ We are unable to locate an application based on the information you provided. Please reach out to the USCIS Contact Center for additional assistance.“ Don’t even know what this mean. Do I have to send another application or it means it’s not reflecting on the system yet from lockbox?

Hi Everyone, Please I need help. I have gotten 5 prima facie now (VAWA). I sent application for my EAD renewal in October to the right Lockbox in IL as I am a NY filer. USCIS returned it from the Vermont service center saying - “We are returning your submission. It has not been examined for legal sufficiency or required documentation. The form type submitted is not within the jurisdiction of the service center. Please resubmit to the correct filing location.” I called them, they said I can file for a renewal myself even if it’s VAWA but send it to Nebraska. I never got a notification that my file was transferred there. Does anyone know what’s going on or have been through this before. Thank you. @Sandra G. @Demise

Hi Everyone, I filed for I-360 and I-485 Aug 2022. I have gotten 3 Prima-facie and don’t even know if they have sent the 4th one. I have not filed for divorce yet; could it be the reason why I-360 is not approved yet? Anyone in this situation or previously went through this Thank you.

Hi, For VAWA is I-485 adjudicated without divorce? We are separated and I do not know his whereabout to file for divorce and I-360 is still pending.
