After getting a Green Card, if you move to a new address, is it mandatory to notify the USCIS of your change in address  and this requirement continues until you attain citizenship ?

The letter I received states I’m being processed for permanent residency and card will be sent in the next few months. I wonder if it’s same for everyone?? I wonder why would it take few months. 

is it common now that uscis is taking few months to send GC after i-485 approval? or should you get the card within a week?

I flew to CT (Hartford) from LA to have my interview done, but USCIS officer told me he does not have jurisdiction to conduct interview and asked me to re-schedule in the state I live (I used to live in CT before and I properly updated address yet USCIS scheduled intw in CT) . He however took my medicals and kept them in USCIS file. Any one had this experience, how do I proceed next ? Thank you so much!

what is GC interview like for vawa applicants? do they ask about abuse or just i-485/i-130. Appreciate your help!
