  1. Hi all, just thought I'd share I spoke with an attorney so if anyone were to have this question in the future, there's an answer. Do NOT count it twice.
  2. Right, I receive SSI and SSDI. The SSDI is under whatever the amount is that I don't need to file taxes because I was in my early 20s when I started receiving payments so they are also not huge. Do I use the SSDI (not SSI) payments on my mom's I134 since I am my mother's dependent and it asks for dependent's income, even though I'll be listing the SSDI (not SSI) on my own form?
  3. She claims me on her taxes but does not report the income. I do not either as it's too little. I know I would need to write a letter stating this when I submit my paperwork.
  4. Hi all, I (petitioner) am disabled and am my mother's dependent. I am planning on using my SSDI payments for the I134, however since I was young when I started receiving them, they are not enough and I need my mother as a joint sponser. For reference, we both also live together. I understand that both my mother and I need to fill out the I134. On the form where it says to list all income contributions from yourself/dependents/others you financially support, does my mom include my payments, since I am her dependent, even though I'll be putting them on my own form? It just seemed odd to me that we will have two forms listing the same source of income and I don't want to get it wrong.
  5. Are you referring to page 10 (where you sign and date) or page 13?
  6. I've been looking into what I'd have to do to get things translated into english and someplaces say I can and others say I can't do it myself. USCIS website says that the translator that does it has to certify their The things I'm gonna have to translate are Flight itineraries, Bank statements and confirmation emails from different places. USCIS website says: Which sounds to me like anyone could potentionally do it. So can I do this myself? Can I have my Mom do it? Do I really need to hire someone to do this?
