Thank you for your reply, I had checked this resource, but it didn't mention anything about authentication, so I thought I'd ask here to see if people who went through the process got their German/Swiss police certificates approved without the authentication and apostille.

Hi everyone, I'm currently collecting the documents for the NVC, to be ready when we get our NOA2. I need Police Certificates from Germany and Switzerland (amongst others), and I am wondering if I need: 1a) the overauthentication of the German certificate of conduct 1b) the issuing of an Apostille for the German certificate of conduct, 2) the Swiss excerpt authenticated by the Federal Chancellery, Or if the "basic versions" are accepted by the NVC? Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!
