3- After marriage, we decided to use the services of a company called Boundless for adjustment of status. While filling the forms, we checked the box that says we need a SSN. From what I understood, when we send the package to USCIS, we’ll have to wait for EAD (however long that takes), and then shortly after we’ll receive SSN card by mail.
Before applying for Boundless, we tried looking up ways to get SSN before getting work authorization, and it seemed like a dead end, but we could be missing something.
