  1. FYI..in our country, IL comes after 23 to 24 months after DQ for CR1/IR1
  2. Probably February 2025. She is enrolled to medical school in the US as a regular student since July 2023. The thing is she is sponsored by the Army and she has to attend extra army related training in her break.
  3. Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share that my wife got accepted into med school in the US in July of 2023. Hence, she hasn’t been able to come back to me for the past 2 years and 2 months because of the time constraints and the high cost of flights. Do you think this might have any impact on my interview? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
  4. I am scheduled for an IR1 visa interview in the near future. My wife previously held employment but is currently pursuing higher education at a U.S. institution. Therefore, she is not currently employed. Fortunately, we have a joint sponsor to support our application. I would like to clarify if submitting only the most recent tax return of our joint sponsor to the NVC/CEAC prior to the interview is sufficient? Please advise if providing a college enrollment letter or similar documentation at this time is necessary? I would like to know if it is mandatory to update the AOS of my joint sponsor and my wife's AOS before the interview?
  5. Hello! Whenever we ask an expedition to IV and got denied, do you think the denial email will be sent to every email at NVC/CEAC or to just to the person who asked the expedition request? (either the Petitioner or the Applicant whoever asked)
  6. The rule of USCIS states that after someone get an immigrant VISA on his passport, he/she must travel to USA to get the physical greencard regardless of whether the payment to USCIS to get the physical greencard was made before/after traveling to US.... That physical greencard needs upto 90days to be delivered to the Immigrant through mail..So my question was, after an immigrant travel to US but if he/she want to travel back to home country before he gets the physical greencard, would USCIS still process the physical greencard as if the person is still in US?
  7. The question was for a person who just got an immigrant visa and required to pay USCIS so that he/she will get a Green card . Usually the green card may take up to 3 months to be issued. So the person want to travel to US and pay USCIS but he want to go back to home country instead of waiting the green card to be issued.
  8. Can an immigrant visa holder return back from US to home country after he/she pays USCIS but before he/she receives a green card? Meanwhile, would USCIS still count the waiting time for receiving the green card whille he/ she still in home country?
  9. If the case NEED to undergo an administrative processing and the applicant is not in his/her home country now, wouldn't it affect the process? thanks
  10. Hello I was wondering the list major risks of transferring a case from home country Embassy to another country Embassy?
