  1. Hey everyone, As I patiently await my NOA2 (NOA1: Oct. 2021), I recently discovered that my two letters of intent to marry did not include the language "legally able to marry," but rather just that we intend to marry within 90 days on arrival with K-1 visa. Two important notes to consider: 1. My form I-129F indicated that neither of us had been previously married, so I really don't see why they would assume by default that an adult man and an adult woman, both never married, in two western countries, could not legally marry? 2. We also had included letters from family that support our intention to marry, maybe this helps? I know a lot of us have had moments of weakness during these long wait times, and this is one of mine, so I had to come here and ask if I am at risk of an RFE because of this minor issue. It seems that they have been going pretty hard with intent to marry letters and even in some cases asking for stuff like rings etc, so I have my worries. Personally, I think it would be rather harsh and wasteful to issue an RFE for such a small reason in a case that is so clear-cut, but I am very anxious and curious what everyone here thinks. Please be honest and let me know your thoughts! I wish everyone good luck in what will hopefully be a much better year for the immigration community.
