  1. Did you use the embassy website to rearrange the appointment? if not try that.
  2. Thank just asked for a quote - what did you opt for air or sea? Also, just boxes or furniture too etc?
  3. Hi All, I've got some furniture that I need to ship which has sentimental value I was wondering if anyone used any particular shipping company?
  4. I've been looking at using Wise as their rates seem decent and fees low.
  5. I got my interview letter 31st May 2024. You can see my timeline.
  6. hi @andrea804 I needed a booster as my last jab was not within 12 months. You can go to boots or NHS pharmacy that does it using the search tool.
  7. NVC process is most easiest of them all. I think you should try get those docs uploaded and then DQ. This way your husband will be waiting for interview and hopefully gets next batch.
  8. Just keep checking your status as it will change from ready to AP and then issued and or approved etc. It will give you a clue when you might get your passport for pickup or delivery etc.
  9. I think the military background will trigger a deeper background check its normal should be done usually in 90 days approx.
  10. I believe the UK rules have changed, and covid jabs are available only for over 12's in the UK. I would ring the medical number and confirm though.
  11. Its usually a few days reading the forum (max a week)
  12. Boot messed me around late last week. I went to another private clinic yesterday and they said we don't provide proof but update your covid pass on your NHS record which they did. I guess the proof then I can show is the GP summary.
  13. I agree. I wonder too what the proof would be with the private clinics. I've phoned around today and not many private clinics even have stock. Boots have been a mess.
  14. Just checked CDC website this has been updated. Also seems 12 month rules is for anyone over the age of 12 or over.
  15. I didn't have one for over 12 months. What did they say to your wife then?
  16. Also, I'd take the list to your GP nurse locally and she can adminstrate a few of them as I didn't have my red book to prove I had a few of the, and the doctor couldnt find my paper record neither. It's way cheaper than the medical. I did forget the Hep B and so had to pay out for that. Varicella was ignored as it's not available in the UK. They could see I had chicken pox as a 9 year old so were happy with it too.
  17. I believe you only need to have the original covid vaccines NOT the boosters. You will need these on the GP summary report listed under vaccination list. They can also only be the brands that are approved by CDC i.e. pfizer, moderna etc.
  18. The service centre times usually are more accurate if you check on the USCIS website. Do you know your service center? You can get it from your receipt number.
  19. The US only requires two covid injections no boosters. This is what I was told by nurse at the medical. I suggest you email them to clarify and or talk to the nurse over the phone. You will need to make sure the covid injection(s) is on your GP summary. You will also require the recommended vaccines from the USA like Pfizer, Moderna, etc. They do not like Astrazeneca as its not approved by CDC.
