  1. I only found this document: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Supplemental/ATA - Almaty.pdf It seems they are the same, just need to be translated
  2. If I understand correctly, they will have to get their medical done in Almaty.
  3. @Moscowmojo, what was your DQ date? Our IR5 cases were just transferred to Almaty automatically, trying to figure out the timeline for interview there. Thanks!
  4. Hey everybody! I wanted to share an unexpected change that just happened to our cases. I have 2 IR5 cases for my parents (DQ December 20 and 21), we were waiting for the interview to be scheduled in Poland. Today we got these weird emails from NVC saying that our interview appointment was cancelled, but we never got any notification from them about interview date or anything. Soon after that I wasn't able to login to CEAC, as it started saying that our case number can't be found. Then finally a few hours later we get an email about our cases changing from Warsaw to Almaty! The interesting thing is that I didn't ask for this at all, my parents actually have Schengen visas. I wonder if Almaty is actually busier than Warsaw and the interview might take longer to schedule.
  5. Just got a DQ for my dad's IR5 as well. Resubmit day is the same - November 15. Finally we are done with this stage, we've been waiting since July 28!
  6. Got 1 DQ late yesterday for my mom's IR5, but nothing for my dad so far. The emails always came together before, hopefully my dad's will get looked at today. The weird thing is that for my mom all the documents said accepted even when we got an RFE, but for my dad i864a was actually rejected. I wonder if this makes a difference.
  7. Hi everybody! I've been watching this thread as I have 2 IR5 visa applications for my parents(Russia). We resubmitted for an RFE on November 15. Original date of submission July 28. @Simplytex, you should go ahead and write the senator for your state and ask them to contact NVC. When our cases changed the embassy from Moscow to Warsaw, it's like the clock got reset, the cases were stuck. Only after the senator reached out they actually looked at the case. We got an RFE, but it was still progress.
