  1. Updates: green card approved on 5/31. we originally submitted adjustment of status early October 2023. Did not get work auth or advanced parole prior to green card even though we submitted the application - luckily it isn’t needed anymore! On 5/31 I noticed a new status update of “your card is being produced”, then a few hours later it switch to case approved! Our RFE arrived at the Vermont field office 5/17, in under two weeks we got approved! Our RFE was mainly to have the vaccine portion updated since my husband’s country didn’t offer the required vaccinations and also an issue with his birth certificate (even though the certificate was official and authenticated by the government, the authentication date was 2021, not at the time of his birth because that’s not standard where he is from) - we ended up submitted affidavits from older family members who could attest to his birth and that he is who he says he is, as well as school records from primary to college. We also sent in evidence of joint finances even though it was not requested - an immigration lawyer recommended we do this at the time of RFE. so for anyone about to start the process - get the vaccine portion of the medical redone (usually this is a cheaper fee if just for vaccines) if you weren’t able to get them in your home country; if you do not have a birth certificate authenticated from time of your birth, get at least two family members to submit affidavits (both original language and translated - these need to be notarized). Submit evidence of shared finances, lease agreements, health insurance, etc. glad to hear others have interviews on the way and are/were approved!
  2. Hey Sara - it is really frustrating. We are in the same boat, but we can see online we were sent an RFE for our green card application last Thursday (this is the first notification of any movement on the application since fingerprints were taken in November) - physical RFE letter didn’t arrive by mail yet and no movement on the EAD and advanced parole, but hopefully there will be progress on yours soon as well 🫶🏽
  3. We are in the same boat - no news since our biometrics in October
  4. Is anyone from the October filers still waiting for their EAD to be processed? Been three months now and still no updates we didn’t have ours convert to electronic and it was sent to the MSC.
  5. There is a separate form that you place on top, but be aware/careful with this one, because the way USCIS inputs your credit card number and info, flags it as fraud from your credit card company, at least it did with my Capital One ( I called Capital One to ask about this and they said USCIS tried to run the card without any of the security codes or anything.), and they will not rerun the card; this delayed us over one month, because we were waiting for them to return our package for us to resend it back with a check instead.
  6. Hello! I asked about the online access code as well and someone in the group provided the info that not all cases get converted to an online case - some case numbers start with MSC and the ones that start with IOE get an online access code while the ones that don’t get converted don’t.
  7. Oh interesting! Thx for the info; IOE means e file doesn’t it? I didn’t think there was that option for our AOS application.
  8. Congrats to those who got approved! Still no movement on ours - we never got an online access code and I’m thinking it’s because they aren’t actively reviewing our case 😔 we’ve submitted the request for a new one and it says there is no online access code for our forms with our receipt numbers 🤷🏻‍♀️
  9. Hi there, welcome to the group. My NOA was the same day as yours. Basically, we got a letter in the mail with biometrics, but still have no online access code, and no other updates, the progress seems very variable, depending on which USCIS you are processing at. A few in this group got their EAD within a few days to weeks after fingerprinting; others like us are still waiting
  10. For everyone where the status to “case is actively being reviewed” did you ever have a status update saying “fingerprints were taken”. We still have no online access code and no updates on our case status tracker other than “fingerprints were taken”
  11. Ours still just says “case was updated to show fingerprints were taken “. We did biometrics November 15. no online access code still - our case was received October 9; we just submitted a request for a new online access code. happy to hear others have EAD approved or actively being reviews though
  12. They sent us an appointment letter with the time they chose. I think if the time doesn’t work you can reschedule for valid reasons. Luckily for us we did not have plans. I didn’t go (us citizen) but my husband went.
  13. That’s awesome - hoping for a speedy process. we did ours Wednesday but no update on the case tracker. We never got an online code for the account so not sure if that gets updated differently?
  14. Us too - I have the receipts I added to my account but we haven’t gotten the access code letter yet. We did biometrics today!
  15. Awesome - glad you were able to get through this process so quickly. Our biometrics is on Wednesday hoping for a speedy process too!
  16. Wait is the online access different than the NOA with case numbers? And different than the biometric appointment letter?
  17. We just received notice of biometrics appointment in the mail today (11/7) when I checked online it still just says “biometrics fee received” with no update. The Chicago lockbox received our application 10/6 but our NOA wasn’t until 10/23; so for those who haven’t heard anything yet, it could take a while
  18. Wow yours is processing so quickly! Hope everything gets completed swiftly!
  19. Ours was very similar - it took weeks for my check to clear and then we just got our notices via mail this past week (we got text notification October 23). I wonder if the Chicago lockbox is just slower??
  20. Ours took a while too - keep waiting for now! I think depending on where the application is processing, the time to biometric scheduling is variable. We still don’t have one scheduled and they got our application on October 6 (mailed to the Chicago lockbox)
  21. This is very interesting indeed! When I checked the actual USCIS website it makes it seem like it’s going to take closer to 1-2 years for AOS, but seeing these dates people are posting on here gives me a little more hope that it won’t take that long hopefully. We got our noa 10/24 but still no response yet - we sent everything to the Chicago lock box since we are based in Oregon
  22. We submitted initially in sept but they returned our application packet because of an issue with my credit card; we resubmitted the whole packet with a check instead this time and just received our NOA Oct 23. mailed: Oct 6 received via fedex to Chicago dropbox: October 11 noa: Oct 23 still waiting next steps This happened to us too - it’s because there’s no work authorization yet, I believe
  23. I’m in almost the same boat - got my NOA1 same time and still waiting. Hang in there!
  24. Also another question as a new member - where is this data from? I remember trying to look everywhere online for updates and not being able to figure it out 😅. Thanks for posting these updates!
