    Went through the immigration process with my wife who became a US Citizen on June 23rd, 2023. We are now going through the process with my mother in law.

  1. We were DQ on 10 Sep, and we are still waiting for an interview date at the US Embassy in Santo Domingo DR.
  2. We submitted the documents on 28 August. They reviewed the documents on 4 September. We had to make some corrections and resubmitted on 6 September. Today 10 September, we received the DQ notification.
  3. Today we got the Documently Qualified notification. We are now waiting on the interview date from the Embassy.
  4. Also, our case was not transferred and was at the Texas Service Center.
  5. We are filing for one parent. Received I-130 approval on August 19, 2024. Received NVC welcome letter on August 24, 2024. Keep checking the documents tab for your dad's approval, the processing tab info is not accurate.
  6. Just received our NOA 2. I filed my mother's I-130 June 27, 2023. Wishing everyone else good luck!
  7. No movement since September 15, 2023. Still waiting on NOA #2. 7 months and counting.
  8. The estimate is for the USCIS I-130 approval. We haven't made it to the NVC process yet.
  9. The current status for my mother in law is 2 months....I'm expecting another update around the 15th of November.
  10. We are filed for my wife's mom June 27, 2023. The initial processing time was 12 months. On Friday September 15, 2023 we received a status update showing 3 months until a decision. Fingers crossed!
