From what I've read you can marry your partner while working on a J1 Visa

There is no 2 year rule for the Camp Counselor J1 visa

There is a 90 day rule in which marrying in the first 90 days of your visa shows intent to immigrate and could end in denial

    My questions...

    * Once married, can you remain in the US past the expiry date to file for AOS?

    * Does the 30 grace period before and after travel count towards the 90 days?

    * Is this route easier than applying for a K1 visa?

    Backstory
(I am a male UK citizen living in England)
I met my significant other last year while travelling. She is a US citizen and was working at a summer camp. We kept a long distance relationship going and made multiple visits to one another. I obtained a J1 visa and we both worked at the same summer camp this summer. We are thinking of getting married but may wait until next summer when I will hopefully have a J1 visa to work at the summer camp again. We are in a healthy, loving and committed relationship. This isn't an illegitimate relationship for the purposes of green card. The J1 route would be an option as it would mean being able to work and earn legally and then remain in the US with money while waiting for a work permit.
