Yep!
We are December 2022, and I already have created steps of what comes next, along with links and anecdotes, and examples, so hopefully we can hit the ground running when it's time (less the new waiting that comes with the NOA2).
@Obllak... On FB I just saw a post in the Nov 21 group- referring to your sheet and they are upset about how March 22 is being touched... am I reading it right because it does seem that way. Hard to believe all those approvals are just from expedite!
Based on the daily average so far in March, and the number of business days in this month (a long one!), USCIS could very easily hit 4,500 cases! FINGERS CROSSED...
Yep! December 2022 here. Fiancée (beneficiary) is finishing up her masters thesis this December, so an NOA2 at that time would be great... HOWEVER anything earlier than that would create a rush and panic on things! Only after that could she concentrate on an interview and packing things up to leave her parents' home for the US!
That's what I was thinking. I keep seeing so much discussion on VJ and FB about people in K-1 and regretting the turn times now, and venting that they should have gone CR-1, maybe that scared off others... We'll see how March looks!
Bh_sarah, I love the case status table you have a link for. I know it's super early, but I'm wanting to do that *eventually* for me and my December 2022 filers...
Also- noticed you are (or your fiance is) in the STL area! Us too!
it's interesting you say you were both attending the (first) interview. Don't think I've heard that before. Is that something that is allowed in the DR?
Best of luck, I hope it all works out for you.
Yes, check for your own country because now the variables change.
I've been tracking VJ timelines for my country, and recent members are reporting about 3 months from NOA2 to embassy received. Then about 1 month later the actual interview. I'LL TAKE THAT!
Regarding being there for the interview... I was thinking of going and "being present" for moral support. Taking her to the embassy, waiting outside, etc.
What other benefits are there? Could it help her case? To mention to them I'm there with her?
Or is it really worth the cost to go there, and the time off that I would have to take? And just trust that she will be fine?
Thoughts on pros & cons please...
