    is the email you’re talking about support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com? i will try to reach them out by email today, thank you :)) hopefully they are just taking an extra look at the paper work i already contacted them for a follow up via phone last week and they said they will escalate the case but i really don’t know what that means or if that will actually work.

    I applied for a G1 diplomatic visa dependent. My dad is the principle and when he had his interview two months ago, he was approved and is currently residing in the US now.

    when i had my interview and received the 221g, the consulate officer never requested for any other documents or additional information to further prove the case. she just gave me a refusal and i’ve been waiting for an update ever since.

    Hello! just wanted to ask what it really means to escalate a visa? i was given a 221g green slip about two months ago so i called the manila embassy last friday to see how my case is going. they said that they will make an escalation request and will update me in 1-2 business days when the US embassy has received it. i was wondering whether or not these escalation requests actually worked and if anyone else had a similar experience. thank you

    i was given a 221g green slip on October 28th my case was updated on November 2nd, 7th and 10th, however no more updates have been given since. we applied for a G1 visa however i’m not the principle holder. i am only a dependent. i have been stranded here for two months now and i’ve been struggling to find other people who have been given a 221g with the same visa category. it seems that 221g’s are most common in K visas or spouse visas. was wondering if anyone has had the same experience.

    hello everyone! i was wondering if there are any 221g whatsapp groups i can join for support or further questions i can ask the people who went through this process. preferably the ones who had experience in US embassy in the Philippines. thank you.
