  1. I'm one week behind you, hopefully you'll get DQ in a few days!
  2. Yes, exactly, I got the two different addresses one in the welcome letter (VA), and one in the CEAC website (NH), it was confusing.. Good to know that sending to VA worked!
  3. I see, thanks! So I guess it takes roughly 2 weeks for them to do (one round of) review. I just completed the DS260 and I sent my civic docs to the address in Virginia, did you also send your docs there as well? It's a bit weird that it's a Virginia address, while the NVC is located in Portsmouth, NH....
  4. Hi everyone, I'm EB, so I need to send my docs to NVC by mail, it should be delivered on Feb 17. Could you add me to the table? , By the way, may i ask a question here? In the WL, it gives a link https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/submitting-documents-to-the-nvc.html for the mailing address, which is: "DOS Visa 44132 Mercure Circle PO Box 65446 Sterling VA 20166 But in CEAC system, before I fill in the DS260, there is a different mailing address: "National Visa Center Attn: CMR/DR 31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100 Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914" Does anyone know which one I should use? I sent docs to the first one as it was given in my WL, but I just want to be sure.
  5. Did you get the invoice as well for the IV fee payment in your welcome letter?
  6. Adding my timeline here, this morning I just got the Welcome Letter from NVC together with the IV fee invoice, I just paid for the fee and waiting for the payment to go through. Hopefully it'll be fast. @pilot787 May I ask if I can send the docs to NVC before the payment is confirmed or before the DS260 form is completed? And how long did it take for you to DQ after you send the docs to NVC?
  7. Hey, I just saw your timeline on visajournery, will you be getting the visa interview in France too?

  8. Yes, I think it depends on the consulate. For example, I heard Montreal is extremely backlogged for interviews, the waiting time is on the order of years.
  9. Hmm, that's strange. I would assume your case is created already based on the timeframe (Dec 13). You should probably do an inquiry to first ask NVC if they have indeed received your case (even though USCIS case status says it was sent to DoS but just in case it was somehow lost in transit), and second, ask them why you haven't received your welcome letter since you should have, based on the timeframe.
  10. You can send a public inquiry via the NVC website https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
  11. Send a public inquiry to NVC (see at the NVC website), explain your situation, and maybe you can also request for expediting your cases in the inquiry, the inquiry response is only a few days.
  12. A small update from me, I'm still waiting for the Welcome Letter, but at least now NVC confirmed that they have recently received my case sent from USCIS (but they didn't mention which day), and that my case is waiting to be entered into their system. (I submitted the public inquiry on 01/13, and received a reply today 01/17, so it's good that at least the inquiry response is fast). And today NVC will update the timeframes, let's hope the case creation time lag gets shorter...
  13. I'm also EB, and I'm still waiting for the welcome letter (sent to NVC on 12/30/2022). From the NVC timeframes website, it takes 2 months to get it. ( Current case creation time frame: As of 9-Jan-23, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 8-Nov-22.") I don't know why EB takes so much longer than FB..
  14. That's my impression also that EB is much slower than FB. Now I'm still waiting for the welcome letter from NVC, now it takes 2 months to even get a case created (i.e. Welcome Letter) at NVC, not to mention that sometimes approved EB cases at TSC might get significantly delayed (their cases are simply not sent to NVC for over 3 months). Fortunately, I'm not one of those (20 days for me), but it was the possibility that I could be one of these delayed cases that really was worrying. By the way, for EB cases, are you asked to send your documents by mail or upload electronically?
  15. Hey, do people mind sharing your timeline here? Would love to see how long it takes in each step.
