Looking for Indians with similar experience. Any NRI Indian passport holders who have foreign addresses in their passports? I’ve grown up in Thailand since age 9, and the Indian embassy won’t accept my application for a police clearance (essential to my DS160 paperwork) because my passport has a Thai address. They need me to have an Indian address that matches the one on my police clearance application. My folks own a flat in Delhi even though we have not lived there and I don’t have any bills/statements in my name to that address. Anyone else encounter this issue and how did you resolve it?
