I'm Canadian, my fiance is American. We'll be getting married mid-2023 and applying for a spousal visa to get me down there. Earlier this year, I went down for a week for his mom's funeral and then stayed for 3 weeks after due to his chronic health issues flaring up to be there and help with care. I was able to work remotely for my job, which I should not have done obviously being on a tourist visa for the visit. (And yeah, did a bit of remote work on other shorter visits as well for full transparency. Have since stopped that and only visit when I go down there.)
I understand that previous unauthorized work is forgiven as part of the process. Given that the work was remote back to my non-US employer, is this something we should worry about mentioning, or when would be the right time to disclose it?
Thanks!
