Do you mean I can have her apply for her citizenship without changing her petition status F2B? If we can legally do so that would be ideal. Regards

I am in the process of helping my mother-in-law apply for her US citizenship and have found out from one of our non-profit organization that is helping us that it may take longer to petition her kids (unmarried and over 21y/o) as a U.S. citizen than her current LPR status. What is the difference and why would it take longer? The person helping us stated this is only for Filipinos.
