Thanks for replying. That gives me hope. Congratulations and good luck with everything!

  2. No update for I-130. For I-485, it just says the case is being actively reviewed
  3. Hello, I submitted my green card application in May this year(I-I30 and I-485), submitted my biometrics in June and no updates since then. Today I decided to chat with the USCIS agent through their website to get the status of my application and I was told that my case is under normal processing time and that my interview was waived on 05/15/2023. Has anyone else seen this before? I find it strange that they waived my interview. I believe that's a good thing?
  4. Hello, I recently noticed that USCIS has added myProgress feature on the USCIS website to track the progress of the case. My current estimated processing time for I-765 is 5 weeks and for I-130/I-485, it is 3 months. Based on personal experience, does anyone know how accurate this estimate is.
  5. Hello. Where can I find the timeline/next steps for a marriage based green card application- concurrent filing? I submitted my application last month and would like to know what are the next steps etc

  6. Hi, I am currently on my H1-B visa and my green card application is in the process. My question is- Once I get my EAD, can I switch my job? If I do so, will I lose my H1-B status since I will be using my EAD for this new job? Please advise.
  7. I am on H1B visa currently which is valid till late 2025 and applying for my Green Card through marriage. I want to know if I should apply for Advance Parole (I-131) with my application in case I need to do international travel to see my family? I have read some conflicting information- -Some say if I do international travel without Advance Parole while my application is in process, USCIS might cancel my application. - Some say advance parole is not required since I have a valid H1B visa. - I have also read that If I use advance parole while I'm on H1B, I will lose my H1B status. Please advise.
  8. Oh wow. That's quite long time Hope you get your results soon !
  9. Hi, My spouse is a US citizen and we are planning to do the concurrent filing for my green card( Form I-130 and Form I-485. Applying for work and travel permit as well) . What is the current processing time for concurrent filing for marriage based green card? I am seeing different information on blogs. Some say its between 7 to 15 months, some say its 14 to 24 months and even more. Please advise.
