  1. No, but my status changed to issued on the "Visa Status Check" website.
  2. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share that my visa was issued today 🥳 My timeline is: Applied: Nov 2022 Case approved by USCIS: April 2023 Interview: December 15th 2023 DS5535 sent: January 2024 Medical and passport requested: September 12, 2024 Passport delivered: Oct 2nd, 2024 Medical delivered: Oct 2nd, 2024 Status changed to issued: Nov 1st, 2024 I'm not waiting on the tracking number... Good luck to all of you!
  3. Hi All, I wanted to share a couple of updates and a question: After being in Administrative Processing since my consulate interview on December 15th, 2023, I finally received an email on September 12th, 2024, requesting my passport, a new medical exam, and two photos. The consulate received my medical results on October 2nd, and my passport on October 3rd. However, I haven’t received any updates since then. I’m sharing this for anyone else who might be in the same situation. Secondly, I’m planning to attend a funeral in the U.S crossing the land border. I have a valid Nexus card and a second passport (I’m a dual citizen). Is there anything that would prevent me from entering the U.S. while my passport is with the consulate? I’ve confirmed with a Canadian border agent that I can re-enter Canada using my Nexus card at the land border, even without my passport. Any input on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. After my interview, I followed the officer's instructions and sent my Canadian passport to the consulate. And after exchanging several emails, the consulate confirmed receipt of my passport by email. It has now been 4 months since the interview, and I need to travel for work and have an upcoming vacation. I'm worried that requesting my passport might further delay the process. Do you think I should apply for a temporary Canadian passport? What are your thoughts?
  5. I think that's a good idea, a petition letter and getting some reporters involved.
  6. I'm in the same boat here. I was also given an online form to fill out and instructed to mail in my passport as soon as I completed it. I've been waiting for 4 weeks since the consulate received my passport...
  7. Hi Everyone, I recently had my interview on December 15th, during which I received a section 221g notice requesting the submission of the online DS-5535 form AND my passport. I completed the DS-5535 online right away and submitted it on December 17th. However, I didn't receive a confirmation after submission... Instead, I landed on a thank-you webpage. Is this normal, or should I expect a confirmation by email? Additionally, I wanted to inquire about the passport request during the interview. The officer returned my passport, he mentioned that I would need it for the holidays travel. I sent my passport last week , but I am now unable to travel. I'm curious about the duration they typically retain passports (if anyone experience that) and if there's any information on similar cases where officers listed passport as document to provide. Thank you in advance for any insights or experiences you can share. Best,
  8. DQ was April 2023 under F2A BUT I've updated my status on August 31st when my spouse become a US citizen. I got confirmation that my visa classification was updated to IR1 on September 6th. Hope it helps anyone waiting.
  9. Hi Everyone, I received my IL at 1AM EST for an interview in December 15th.
