  1. @pushbrkMy original question to you was just out of confusion because I know that wording is very specific from the i129, I don’t remember seeing it anywhere in the 130. You and some other have provided some good thoughts, other have been less than helpful. Thanks push
  2. @LemonsliceMy wife has full knowledge of my net worth. We both choose to have separate finances so we can spend what we want on what we want after bills are paid. I appreciate everyone’s thoughts here.
  3. @TBoneTX what exactly did I say here? I haven’t responded in hours.
  4. Thanks @Crazy Cat I just wanted to be sure we were all talking about the same thing since the 129 specifically says this.
  5. We will share a bank account once we live together for bills, but as @powerpuff said, can’t share anything really while living two separate lives. No idea why you’re referencing 751.. or n400 and no idea what iso or co is. But maybe if you stopped acting like you were born with all this knowledge you might actually help someone instead of treating them like an idiot. I’m asking questions preparing to submit our forms. Thanks for your input.
  6. Us govt: what proof do you have that you’re really married? Petitioner: well here’s our marriage license that seems to be working for 50 states.. Us govt : sorry .. hey got any pics!?
  7. 1. She doesn’t have a social security number 2. We elect to keep our finances separate. 3. No other marriage in the us is required to have any of this. 4. It’s my credit.
  8. Yes well I’m still hoping someone will answer the question I actually asked. Listen to what? Push referenced a statement on the 129, mike said add eachother - which is not happening. I asked what the affidavit needs to state.. “I attended their wedding”, “he told me he got married”
  9. You mean like on the site under required documents it doesn’t state: Checklist of Required Initial Evidence (for informational purposes only) Please do not submit this checklist with your Form I-130 (and Form I-130A, if required). 10. I think you’re thinking of the statement for the fiancé visa that includes this. We are applying for the spousal visa.
  11. It states to funrnish required evidence including: Evidence of the bona fides of the marriage, if petitioning for a spouse: Documentation showing joint ownership of property; A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence, meaning you both live at the same address together; Documentation showing that you and your spouse have combined your financial resources; Birth certificates of children born to you and your spouse together; Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship. Each affidavit must contain the full name and address of the person making the affidavit; date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit; and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired their knowledge of your marriage; and Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union. We have none of these since I live in Colorado and she lives in Mexico. The o ky option is for an affidavit, what exactly are they looking for this to say?
  12. Ok. So we’ve been working up some ideas. Looking for flaws to be pointed out. I plan to apply for the cr1 this weekend using a virtual mailbox for mailing. we plan to move to Tijuana, I will work in San Diego. Thinking to get one virtual mailbox for both of us with a physical location in sd. This mailbox would have scanning services available as well as physical pickup.
  13. Is there anything I’ll be receiving that a virtual mailbox won’t work for? Or a recommendation on a virtual mailbox company?
  14. Umm ok.. it’s an easy route for mailing in light of my moving circumstances.
  15. Thanks for listening. Is there any problem with me filing while living in Colorado then moving? I thought I remember someone saying you can’t move because you can’t change your address but maybe that was when I was looking at k1 options. We are married now so will apply for cr1
  16. No I think I would go on the 180 day visa then apply for temp residency.
  17. It’s not a promise, if I was in San Diego tomorrow I’d have a job in 2 weeks max. My skills are highly sought. Are you trying to say I can’t change jobs during the whole process?
  18. Yes, I’d be in the same field just moving to tj. I’ve been in my field for 8 years.work would be in San Diego.
