  1. So I emailed NVC inquiring if packet received and in response I got a case #. Still waiting on a notice, right? Still can't do anything?
  2. What is the concensus regarding Covid vaccine? Does the beneficiary need it prior to traveling or not? My partner prefers to get the vaccine upon his arrival. When I checked online it said it needs to be done ahead of medical exam scheduling. He called to verify and was told "not necessarily". So I'm not sure what to advise him. I tried looking in other threads but I observed mixed answers. Anyone here have a place to look for an answer?
  3. Is there a place to track NVC stage for K1 visa? I just went to NVC community discussion and I am seeing all IR/CR1 visas. Even in Facebook group very rarely am I seeing any post for K1.
  4. Thanks for that. I'm still emailing them based on the recommendation per I-797. That's helpful information to know being in the NVC stage. Waiting for a note.
  5. Has anyone that was approved in January reached out to NVC yet? NOA2 says to wait 30 days before sending an email. Just wondering since I saw some that have NOAs in December already received by consulate. Just curious.
  6. I received my i-797. Does it matter that online my approval says 1/31/2023 and the letter is dated 1/30/2023?
  7. Thank you. I figured as much. I just thought it was weird that they placed a date so soon on the notice on website.
  8. On "myuscis" notice on website it says if I don't get a notice by 2 weeks after approval date to reach out to USCIS. I tried to search in other topics regarding NVC welcome letter and I read some conflicting information. Is there delays/backlogs in steps after approval from USCIS? Is 2 weeks too soon for a notice? Someone wrote they never got a letter and received case number only after they inquired via emailed to NVC.
  9. I'm trying to search a topic as to what to do next or the wait time to reach the next step with NVC. Enjoying this long wait so very much!
  10. I followed a couples timeline and just got notice that they updated. They were 11/25/2021 in South America I believe and they received NOA2. Congratulations to them but keeping hope that the rest of us are just a short weeks away from NOA2!
  11. Thank you Anna for that clarification. Not sure if that answers which week I'm supposed to view if my receipt date is 11/29/21? Based on the graph provided by MW seems that week dates are based on Fridays. Just trying to figure out which grouping week to keep a look out for 11/26 or 12/3. Do you know which one?
  12. If my receipt date is 11/29/21 am I looking at week 11/26 or 12/3? Does that mean I need to follow both December and November topics?
  13. I also have a separate question. In my timeline on VJ it gives estimate of adjudication sometime in February 2023. However when I look up California service center on USCIS website based on my NOA1 date it says to call if after a date in April. Does that mean USCIS has until April to adjudicate or to expect adjudication in April not February. I hope that makes sense.
  14. I am in the same boat. Originally the time when we applied was 5-7 months but increased to 6-9months. To see where we are now just makes me more upset with the process-which doesn't help. It sucks but if you go to the November i-129f topic you'll find some information that can help you while we wait; as this is the only thing that can be done. What's more saddening is I think Nigeria has further delay once you are approved for interview appointments. So unfortunately adding on to the already 16 month waiting period for adjudication. If you read otherwise please let me know.
