I sent an online inquiry and received a response from NVC at day 32 post approval. Once it was on the way to embassy received it in email notification as well.

We are in the same boat. Here is what I know based on where you are now. 1. You can complete the DS-160 print/email the confirmation page. Your fiance will need this for interview/scheduling. 2. the 134 form depending on your embassy may be uploaded or may need to be taken to the interview. This is embassy dependent is my understanding 3. The welcome letter is from the embassy and I believe that is considered packet 3. I think there is a form in this to request police report as well and should include medical facilities designated by them. You can check that on the website for the embassy in UK as well. I think I may have even checked the state department website for this. (like you I have done so much research and between excitement and ensuring everything is done correctly it's getting a bit hazy) 4. Lastly-you will never go wrong by waiting until they inform you of what you need. However the tips and tricks spread sheet in your month NVC to embassy thread (22 pages of information) is very helpful. Tip: on that spread sheet there's hack on tracking DHL mail sent. You should take a look at it. I hope that helps a bit.

Congrats on becoming ready! We are still "in transit" despite using the DHL tracking hack and knowing our case arrived 3/21. So you would have to let me know once you start uploading your documents what tax year is required. My suggestion is since you filed already call the IRS and request if they can get your transcript sooner.

I think I've read this elsewhere and it was because USCIS needs to correct something entered incorrectly. I wish I could've found it and linked here for you. Sorry that happened. Also read that if it was their fault you can request to expedite your case. Not sure if that would work but worth a shot.

Yes transcript is not available for 2022 yet. But I have 2021. I thought this needed to be uploaded in CEAC and not brought to interview. I'll prep for both either eay. Thank you!

You can start the ds160. Highly suggest completing together! Save the application ID in case you can't finish all at once. The beneficiary will need to print confirmation page for interview; but you have the ability to email as well at the end of the application. Now you wait for notice that your petition is "in transit" to embassy. Start collecting the documents petitioner needs to upload and I would complete the affidavit of support too-so that it's ready. I think that person responded with 309 untouched cases. Did you see that in dcleonv response. I quoted that. Is that what you were looking for or is it something else?

So as soon as we got the notification that we were "in transit" and our case # we did the ds 160 per the advice here in VJ. I did a new intent to marry and mailed to my partner. Yesterday we also registered on the usatraveldocs website but you will not be able to proceed to schedule appt until you are instructed to by the embassy. Just ready to get everything uploaded.

Does yours say NVC sent your interview date in the notification? I received notice but only with embassy address and our case ID and statement that our case has been forwarded to embassy. No interview sate was provided. It's confusing; someone else told me not to worry about that because beneficiary schedules their own appointment .

Yes same here and I checked the status and it says we were assigned interview date but haven't received that information either.

I got a notice in my email saying our petition is in transit and we were assigned an interview date by NVC but I don't see that information in the notice they sent. Am I missing something? Is this coming from welcome letter from embassy?

Hello everyone! Hope you all are moving along in the process. Our petition is in transit to embassy now. The notification says we have been given a date for interview but in the email I didn't see that.

I got my notice in an email today that our petition is in transit to embassy. It came to me the petitioner via email when i tried to open it on my phone it wouldn't. Something to do with converting the file on desktop first. Finally was able to open it and I'm not sure it's a welcome letter. It's almost like an NOA3 giving the case ID and address to embassy in beneficiary country. Nonetheless goodbye NVC hello embassy stage!

Also covid vaccine needed or not needed before scheduling interview? Seems like they weren't at one point. Then they were and now since they are possibly ending the emergency nationwide in May or so-not sure what the concensus is at this moment.

Noa2 1/31/23 NVC inquiry sent and received case # 03/06/23. Completed DS160 application as advised by another member and printed confirmation page. I dont have welcome letter yet but once received is there a designated place online in CEAC to upload forms or will beneficiary have to print the documents and take to interview? Please advise.

I got that response too but it also had a case # before the comment about forwarding to consulate. Sorry I don't know why your case number wasn't included there.

Yes mine still says approved. Have you received your NOA 2 physical letter? If yes you should be contacting NVC not USCIS. Did you email using online inquiry form & not the direct email? I did both but I got an answer from NVC from the online form and no response from when I emailed them directly.
